  1. 1. Does Choice Broking offer margin trading?

    Yes, Choice Broking offers a margin trading facility(MTF) to its customers. The investors can enhance their buying power through the MTF services provided by the broker by utilizing broker funds to a considerable extent to execute the transaction.

    You need to activate the MTF account by signing up for Choice Margin+ product to access the MTF services. With MTF, you can carry forward your positions beyond T+7 days and increase your leverage by four times. Earlier, the MTF trading was allowed against cash margin, however now with relaxed SEBI rules, even shares can be used as collateral to avail margin facility.

     

  2. 2. Does Choice Broking allow BTST?

    Yes, Choice Broking allows BTST orders (Buy Today Sell Tomorrow) that enables you to sell the stocks before you get its delivery in your Demat account. 

    Generally, the trades follow a T+2 settlement cycle. Hence if you buy a stock today, the shares get credited to your Demat account only after two days starting from the T-day post which, you can sell them. However, BTST allows you to sell the shares even before they get credited to your account and thus enables you to take benefit from the short-term price volatility. It is also important to note that BTST involves the risk of short-delivery for which you can get penalized by the exchange.

    Choice Broking charges Rs 0 (Free) Annual Maintenance Charge (AMC) for a trading account and Rs 200 or as per plan. (1st year AMC free) for a Demat account. AMC is charged to maintain the accounts.

  2. How much Choice Broking charge for delivery?

    Choice Broking charge 0.20% for equity delivery trade. These trades are also known as cash & carry trades or CNC.

    Espresso customer also has to pay taxes, demat debit transaction fee (Rs 13.5 per trade) and exchange transaction charges.
