    Yes, Choice Broking charges an annual maintenance charge of Rs 200 + GST for maintaining the Demat account with the broker.

    The company also offers special AMC Plans to individual customers apart from the basic standard plan as per below: 

    1. Lifetime AMC Free Plan (One Time - Non-refundable): Rs 1,500 + GST
    2. Lifetime AMC Free Plan (One Time - Refundable): Rs 3,000 

    Note:

    • The first year AMC for individuals is free.
    • For corporates, the AMC charges of Rs 1000 + GST per Annum Plan are applicable from the 1st year.
    • The corporates can also avail of Lifetime AMC Plan at Rs 5,000 + GST that is applicable only for an escrow account.

     

  4. 4. How Choice Broking calculates brokerage?

    Choice Broking follows a percentage-based brokerage model for Equity Delivery, Intraday, and Futures trades and per lot basis brokerage model for Options trades

    In a percentage-based brokerage model, the brokerage charged is a percentage of the trading value whereas in a per lot basis model, the brokerage is charged based on the number of lots executed irrespective of the trade value. 

     For example, if you buy 100 shares of ABC Company @ Rs 50, you pay Rs 10 as brokerage as per 0.20% on the trade value of Rs 5,000.

    Similarly, if you buy 10 lots of NIFTY Options, you pay Rs 250 as brokerage based on Rs 25 per lot for Equity Options.

At present mostly all brokers are charging per order whereas Choice is charging per lot. If I trade 10 lots, it makes a huge difference!
