Trustline Securities Ltd is a Noida based financial service provider since 1989. Trustline primarily is in the business of brokerage. The company offers online and offline trading at BSE, NSE, MCX, and NCDEX. Trustline also provides services like Demat Account, MF's, Insurance, Corp FD's, Bonds and Investor Advisory services through its parent company Trustline Securities.
Depository Services (Demat Account) is a key offering by Trustline. The Trustline demat account offers a safe, secure and hassle-free investment in Shares, Mutual Funds, IPOs, Bonds, NCDs etc to its customers. A demat account is similar to a bank account where customer holds shares, mutual funds, bonds etc in digital format.
Trustline Securities offer a 2-in-1 account to its customers. This includes a demat account and a trading account linked together for seamless transactions of shares between these two accounts.
Trustline Securities Ltd is the depository participant (DP) of CDSL (Central Depository Services India Limited), and NSDL (National Securities Depository Limited).
CDSL and NSDL are the only two designated depositories in India. They actually hold the demat accounts and securities in them. DP's like Trustline are their members to service the demat accounts of their clients. DP's take fee from the customers to servicing the demat account. CDSL and NSDL also charge a fee on each demat account transaction.

To open a new demat account with Trustline, customer has to pay demat account opening fee. Most share brokers also charge Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC). Depository Participants like Trustline Securities charge Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC) from the customer to service the demat account. This is charged irrespective to you do any transaction or not. This is a fixed yearly fee customer have to pay to keep the demat account active. This Demat AMC ranges from Rs 300 a year to Rs 1200 a year based on the DP service provider.
Trustline Lifetime Zero AMC Demat Account allows to pay the onetime fee of Rs 1000 at the time at the time of account opening and do not pay any AMC thereafter. Note that a limited time special offer saves an additional 50% on this fee.

Yes, you could open a minor demat account with Trustline Securities. Note that in the case of a Minor account (demat or trading), the legal guardian (either of the parents) has to be appointed. The documentation of the guardian has to be provided at the time of account opening.
