You could open an account with Trustline in 3 simple ways:

  1. Online Account Opening (Instant Paperless Account)

    You could open an instant online paperless trading and demat account. This process uses eKTC and Aadhar eSignature for account opening. Using this process, you could open an account just in few minutes. It doesn't require any papers to be sign or courier. This is the fastest and most convenient way to open an account with Trsutline.

    Click on the Open an account button on Trustline.in website or from its Mobile Trader app to begin the account opening process. If you have all the documents in hand, the process should not take more than 15 minutes.

  2. Visit Trustline Branch Offices

    Trustline has over 400 branches located across all major cities. You could visit any of these branch offices and complete account opening process.

  3. Request Account Opening Forms

    If none of the above options work for you, it is suggested to call Trustline customer service to request for the account opening forms in courier. You could fill these forms, sign them, attached required documents and send it.

Documents needed for account opening

For a retail individual account, following documents are required to open the trading and demat account:

  1. AADHAR Card
  2. PAN Card
  3. Address Proof
  4. Latest Bank Statement with IFSC/MICR Code
  5. Canceled Cheque
  6. Passport Size Photo

Note that additional documents are required in case you would like to trade in derivatives segments.

It takes 24 hrs to open an account once the signed forms are received and all the documents are in correct order. You can track your application at http://crf.trustline.in/ by entering your PAN.

Account Opening PDF Forms

Online instant account opening is preferred way to open an account with Trustline. It is instant, paperless, error-free and convenient.

If for some reason you cannot open an account online, you could contact the customer service to send a representative to your home/office.

Even if that doesn't work, you could also open an account by downloading the PDF account opening form from its website. The sample form is also provided in the download section of the website for guidelines.

Trustline Account Closure Form

Trustline trading, demat and mutual fund accounts. If you don't need one or more of these accounts, you could close them anytime.

Before you request the account closure, please ensure:

  1. You should have NIL balance (debit/credit) in your demat account. You should sell or transfer all the holdings in your demat account
  2. You should close open positions in your trading account
  3. Make sure that you clear all dues with the broker.
  4. The account cannot be closed online or through email or phone calls.
  5. The physically signed application is required.
  6. If there are multiple account holders on the account, each one has to sign on account closing form.

Steps to Close Trustline Account

  1. Write a letter to the broker requesting account closure.
  2. Attach a self-attested copy of your ledger.
  3. Attach the left out DP Slips, if any.
  4. Sent it to the Trustline office or submit it to your nearest branch.
  5. Get the receipt from the broker if you are submitting this request at a branch.

Note:

  • The application is processed within 3 days of the form receipt.
  • The balance fund and demat holdings (if any) are transferred to the designated account mentioned in the account closer form.
  • The account closure intimation and final statement of the accounts for the fund and demat holdings are sent to the client through registered post.

Note that follow-up for account closure is important. If you do not get confirmation in 15 days, contact the customer support to check the status.

    The PoA gives limited rights to the broker to withdraw shares from your trading account to settle the sell transaction in your linked trading account. Without PoA, the broker cannot withdraw the shares from your demat account and thus cannot complete the sell transaction.
