Stoxkart requires you to open a trading and a demat account to invest in the Indian stock market. The company offers an instant online account opening facility as well as an offline account facility.

The paperless online account opening is an eKYC and Aadhar based account opening process which allows you to open an account in just 15 minutes. To open the account online, you need your Aadhar linked with your current phone number for OTP verification.

To open account offline, you need to fill up a form and send to the company along with supporting documents.


Stoxkart Account Opening Process

To avail of these services, you need to open a trading account and a demat account with the company and link his bank account. The demat account is not compulsory for trading only in derivatives.

  2. Click 'Open an Account' link in the top right
  3. Enter your mobile number and email. Verify them.
  4. Enter your Aadhar and PAN Numbers.
  5. Verify Aadhar with OTP.
  6. Check your personal detail.
  7. Upload supporting documents.
  8. Submit the application form.

Note: To open the paperless online account, your current phone number should be linked with your Aadhar number for OTP verification.

Steps for Stoxkart Offline Account Opening

  1. Visit Stoxkart website
  2. Click 'Support' > 'Download' link in the top navigation bar
  3. Download the 'Demat & Trading Account Opening Form'.
  4. Print it, fill it and sign it.
  5. Attach supporting documents.
  6. Courier forms and documents to the address given.

Note: It takes up to 2 working days to open an account once the paper forms are received by the broker.

Stoxkart Account Closure

You can close your Stoxkart Trading and Demat account if you are not using the account anymore or moved to another stock broker. The account closure process is offline and cannot be done online. You can close both the accounts through a single form.

Steps for Stoxkart Account Closing

  1. Visit the Stoxkart website.
  2. Click 'Support' > 'Download' link in the top navigation bar.
  3. Download the 'Demat Account Closure' form.
  4. Print, fill and sign it.
  5. Send it to the address provided in the form.

Note: Before initiating the account closure process, please ensure to:

  1. Sell or Transfer all securities held in the Stoxkart demat account to another demat.
  2. Close all the open positions
  3. Clear all unpaid dues.

    1. Visit the stoxkart website and go to the 'downloads' section.
    2. Download the Demat Account Closure form.
    3. Print and fill it.
    4. Attach unused DIS slips, if any.
    5. Send it to the address provided in the form.

    • Your account closure request may be rejected due to unpaid dues. Clear all your dues before sending the form.
    • Close all open positions and transfer existing securities to your other demat account before initiating the account closure process.
