Yes, you can have multiple demat accounts with geojit on your name. There is no limit on the number of the demat accounts in the same name with a broker.
But there is a limit on the number of trading account with the same broker. One individual (unique PAN Number) can have only 1 trading account with a stockbroker. i.e. You could open only 1 trading account on your name with Geojit. But you could open multiple trading accounts by choosing different brokers i.e. one with Geojit and another with Zerodha.

Securities are kept in depositories in electronic form. There are two depositories in India registered with SEBI namely NSDL (National Securities Depository Limited) and CDSL (Central Depository Services Limited).
