Access SBI M-easy:

Investors are not required to install or download any mobile app to use M-easy. It is not a mobile app. You are only required to complete the M-easy mandate and submit it to SBI Mutual Fund to get this mobile investment facility for investment through sending an SMS. As per your need, you can choose M-easy Mandate for regular and direct schemes. You can download the registration cum debit mandate form from SBI Mutual Fund by clicking on 'M-easy' under the 'Ways to Invest' menu.

To complete a financial or non-financial transaction, you can send SMS to '9210192101'. The SMS should be in following format for different transactions:

  • 'INV space <Amount>' - Invest in your default scheme/plan

SBI Mutual Funds Offline Investments

  1. SBI also allows you to invest in its mutual funds offline. Following steps will help you invest in the fund of your choice-
  2. Contact a SBI Mutual Fund representative or an empaneled distributor. To get the details of company representatives of distributors in your city, please contact the customer care.
  3. Get an application and KYC form (if KYC procedure is not completed).
  4. Fill the application/KYC (if applicable) form by providing details like i.e. name, address, PAN, email address, mobile number, etc. 
  5. Attach copies of required documents and submit them along with a cheque/demand draft of the desired investment amount to any branch of SBI Mutual Fund or point of acceptance.
  6. You will get a folio number for that particular investment and an Account Statement, after the transaction is processed.
