Great fee structure, intuitive charts on kite, RMS is a little rushed and expensive, customer service is great in terms of replying back but they dont provide any analysis or something

Looking at the Zerodha tax PnL report, the taxable profit show the entire value of the sale vs purchase difference including the brokerage and mandatory charges. Thus, the cost of purchase and sale is included in the taxable profit, resulting in a higher taxable profit. How is the PnL reported to the income tax department in this case? Also, given the latest ruling that the income from stock market will be auto-populated in the return, this will result in a far larger tax liability than the actual return.

Has anyone else noticed this anomaly?

All other trading platforms are deducting the charges from the profit before making the remaining amount taxable.

I like zero delivery charges and stock sip is my favourite feature.thanks zerodha team for stock sip.i hope in future also zerodha will bring latest feature with it's platform

Very bad experience in demoralizing process of physical share..

Zerodha charges Rs 295 for rejected proces of Demoralizing ...
If we resubmit mean again they charge processing fee of 295..

I spend around more then Rs 700 to demoralizing my physical share which is worth of 11000..
It men 70% processing charges..

Worst experience..

Fell to quit from zerodha

It's Dematerializing not demoralizing....second this Rs 700 of 11000 is not 70% but ard 7%

Review after using SBISec, Upstox and Zerodha:
1. Smooth app, simple and intuitive. Best in the entire Indian apps market.
2. Very good back office where almost everything can be done online.
Pledging, gifting shares, reports are neat and can be imported for ITR filing in Quicko
3. Support is also OK. Articles are available for most of the common queries.
When you raise a ticket, it will get a response, but not always quick.
4. There have been incidents where the servers stop responding - no price updates, login issues, order rejections. These get widely reported. Losses from these have to be born by customers.
5. For option traders, there is a range limit for buying options. This is due to NSE limits.
However, you can buy any option outside the range if you have an open short sell option.
6. There are no monthly plans; and CEO has told they dont plan to introduce it too.
7. Has an active discussion forum tragingqna.com
8. Mutual funds are integrated in your holdings report in back office. It is easy to pledge it for F&O margins.
9. Leverage, with new SEBI rules are now standardized across brokers.

No trading margins, no services, not allow to buy all options, not allowed to trade on monthly expiry stk option. Many issues.

Very poor response of customer care.....its takes 10-15 minutes to connect with concerned people... margin not updated on system with happening of transactions and at times you may incur losses due to this.....ver bad trading experience.

Zerodha kite app controled and crypted app whenever you trede you option trading you see your share always down side .
Practicaly i seen. 16 hours daily i learn the technical chart and with extra service.
All of that is big hidden scam you'll dont see and cacth. They making us fool you can go for long term investment this true only seriously.

There are constant challenges when it comes to the basics, like placing orders, fund transfer plus the amount of information they show post login is absurdly low,also they have no research offerings like the ones 5Paisa has, customer care is next to NIL & overall experience is a big fat ZILCH, my advice to people reading this is to stay with traditional brokers like MOSL or ICICI and if you want, you may try Upstox or 5paisa,
they're leaps and bounds better than this ZERO..

I went mad !! Bank nifty options got traded on their own as if a ghost was sitting on my terminal!!! yes, you heard me right - options were being bought or sold ON ITS OWN; NO GTT OR ANY ORDER PENDING FOR SURE (I AM A FULL TIME OPTIONS TRADER FOR COUPLE OF YEARS), i LOGGED OUT - CHANGES pw - PROBLEM CONTINUED FOR WHILE...

and Lo their customer support call asks you to wait for 15 mins, repeatedly asks to type code number, hangs phone after a while, no email ID on their web site - bbbrrr fart...

Be careful friends, keep watching your screen

I like the app & user friendly portal
No human intervention is not something in India investor would appreciate
Even when contacted the support no, not satisfactory human endeavour
