Only one downside I feel, is their brokerage. They suddenly increased from 0.01% to 0.03% (3 times) since lockdown. But, as compare to other brokers, its competitive. Otherwise, its best!

Zerodha has stopped allowing trading in OTM out of the money Options. Only you can do short straddles and Options ATM or Optiobs Near the Strike Price. Risky. Does not suit risk averse Option Writers / traders.

Hi...
1. Zerodha doesn't allow far months option contracts trading which may disturb your hedging strategies.
2. Brokerages are quite high for intraday multiple option buying hence not good for scalpers.
3. Charts are lagging behind to actual market price hence wrong trades are quite possible.
4. Margin utilization calculations are annoying which may compel you to exit from trade.
5. Customers care is average as you have to wait longer. Emergency may cause big loss.

I have been trying for more than a month to open my account, i always get a automatized reply that our salesman are currently busy and the call get Disconnected ( irrespective of time i.e. morning, noon or evening)
What kind of service is this !!! I don't think they are so busy to keep pending a account opening for more than a month

Cheap for delivery, reasonable for other services. Good website & apps, but poor poor reliability. Intraday square off very often doesn't get done resulting in heavy losses. Reliability a key issue. No research & tips. Overall Just Average.

The discounted brokerage model is a sure thumbs up considering high fee charged by peers in the business.(It was only a David who brought down Goliath)
Good for active traders who depend on stock markets for their bread and butter during these covid19 times.

Very bad experience with fund balance. Without any reason they deduct my fund balance.

I have created a ticket related your technical web issues.. and there is no response from you for that particular ticket. Whereas for the tickets created later to it got reply from your team. Due to your technical issues i got a loss of 90k.

I have very bad experience on Account opening
They will accept the form in bulk order later you just get mad calling them they won't listen.for me its takes 2 week to open the Account.

Most unprofessional organization I have ever seen.. i have opened my account around 1 month back but unable to trade till now as remark says this segment
is unable.. There is no solution in system, created multiple tickets they don't get replied for even 20 days.. called to their call centre, they don't know the reason, neither know the resolution, only says they are forwarding to issue to the concerned person but noone replied till date..sent a complaint mail but they again created ticket against that.. Its very frustrating experience..

To customers using Zerodha.
Can someone calculate the Intraday Brokerage they are actually charging. They claim 0.03% but seem to actually charge 0.08%. And this is before all the STT and all other taxes. I am talking about only brokerage. In the report they clearly mention all other taxes after the brokerage. But it seems they are charging 0.08% brokerage on intraday trades.

Plus they can not be reached. The customer service is pathetic.
