The Zerodha Telephone Code (formally known as Zpin or Z Pin) is a 4 digit telephone code used by Zerodha to verify the identity of a customer when they call customer support or call & trade desk.

Note: Zerodha customer gets 3 PIN Numbers:

  1. Kite PIN (for Login)
  2. Zerodha Telephone Code (for calling Zerodha)
  3. Zerodha CDSL TPIN (for Demat Sell Transaction)

Zerodha provides a 4 digit telephone code to every customer at the time of account opening. Every time you call Zerodha, you will be asked to enter this code. After the successful verification, the company representative will be able to access your account information and provide assistance to you.

Your Zerodha telephone code is your personal identification for placing orders through our Call & Trade desk and for raising support queries. It is a 4 digit number like 1234.

This early verification saves time for customer service agents and makes them more efficient.

You could find or reset your Zerodha phone code at any time by visiting the 'My Profile' section of the Zerodha Console (back office) website.

Note:

  • You cannot choose your own Zerodha Telephone Code. It is assigned by Zerodha automatically.

Follow the steps below to get your Zerodha telephone code:

  1. Visit Zerodha.com website
  2. Click on 'Console' in the menu link on the top right side.
  3. Login to Console using Kite Login ID
  4. Click on your 'Client ID' (i.e. RM0101) in top right
  5. Click on 'My Profile'
  6. Check 'Telephone Code' by clicking on the eye sign.
  7. Click Reset to change the telephone code.

Following are the steps to find or generate Telephone Pin using Zerodha Kite Mobile App:

  1. Log in to your Kite mobile app
  2. Click on the Client ID button in the bottom right.
  3. On 'Accounts' page click on your Client ID
  4. Click on the 'Detailed Profile' link
  5. Check 'Telephone Code' by clicking on the eye sign.
  6. Click Reset to change the telephone code.
