Worst experience. Kehne k liye to zero brokerage bolte hain, but jitna profit hua hain us se v jayda brokerage dena parta hain.

Kotak securities - worst ever service seen so far

As I had opened from Kotak bank I am unable to use free trade plan.. So I am paying so much more than reqd... I find it now..
Kotak has to allow customer like me to shift in free trade plan.
It's not possible now as per kotak help line person.
But for new Trader and below 30yrs. This is only pure Free plan available in Market

Third class, officially India's worst stock broker, ghatiya service, pathetic research, faaltuu product and 0 customer service
All time server down.. don't use this for trading.. because he made big loses.

Started my account 6 months back because I already had a kotak savings so thought it would be okay to have broking with same broker, otherwise I have been trading with IIFL group for last 2 decades, my experience has been beyond words, it's pathetic, their app is smooth but their miscellaneous charges are so random, their delivery charges are high and WORST WORST WORST research calls i lost money in every trade and when i spoke to customer service they know nothing about anything, i finally decided to shut my account last week, sent documents to their goregaon office and now back with IIFL. My sincere advice, please dont use Kotak securities. It's bad.

I have been a zerodha user since last 3 years. I wanted to shift to a 3-in-1 account, since the full time brokers have reduced their rates and there is no advantage of staying with discount brokers, since all the margin benefits are gone. Hence, I selected Kotak securities. I was much afraid of looking at the reviews here, but in my research I found only Kotak had all the feartures that I needed and was offering best cost. I honestly say that I am surprised. It has been 3 months and I am amazed that I faced none of the issues ppl are sharing here. I use Nest trading platform, orders are super fast, bills are clear, statements are transparent. Give it a try with free trade plan and switch to nest trader. Best experience.

It's been more than 7 months now. I still do not know why ppl are negative like hell about this broker. It's the only bank based broker which is offering something which is even cheaper than discount broker (free intraday). My experience has been awesome with nest. I had used kotak mobile app and website, they are not that good, I am proficient with nest, hence have been using it since opening account here. Just see other bank based brokers, they will literally loot you and they dont shy away showing their rate list.

Every person who thought to open acc. with kotak securities, don't do this at all.
I trapped in because of free brokerage on all segments for only 500 rs a year

But only after 1.5 months of use , they charged me 10,000 rs extra charges , penalties and hidden charges without asking me.

They cut from your balance without knowing you.

And application is super bad. They always show wrong price for every options

Your fund will show 50lac or in some crore falsely and if you use it , you will be charged thousands of penalty so beware.

And their customers support doesn't know anything, if you call them they don't know about why charges cutted and you couldn't do anything except crying.

This is the worst mistake of my life and I didn't know about other free brokers like finvasia they are free but I haven't tried yet so going to open account their.

and now I come to know about this and I'm closing my kotak account and also filling case in sebi and nse for charges.

Please please please Don't fall in trap. They are demons and rob your fund without knowing you.

Worst broker of India, their research and advisory is appalling, product bhi ek dum ghatiya hai... Aur customer support toh hai he nahi..

AMC Charges RS66/Month +GST. very high comapre with leading full service brokerage. Equity delivery is 0.49%. And also charges for settlement fee Rs27 or 0.04%. very high .do not fall on this bullsit

Despite reducing their brokerage their brokerage is still amongst the highest, not to forget the hidden charges, third class broker, their product seems was designed by some Cyber cafe wala and their recommendation is complete JUNK. I think nobody cares what customer feedback is at Kotak securities. Their customer support will always make you wait for 10 minutes before some incompetent person comes over and doesnt even address your concern. Also, Never follow their recommendations, they are the worst!

yes I agree with you their customer service is very very poor if you open the account in kotak securities means then you will be trapped I had TCS shares in my account and also I have eligible for TCS buyback but
their customer care team misguided me and I held up in loosing huge amount very worst platform

They are not user friendly in terms of policy . High interest rate of 23.99%. where others have a max of 18%. And customer looting is another interest of the organization. Even all the process are computer generated and we think all are correct , but in background they are looting without informing customers, in terms of risk correction, margin and many more.

It's one of the worst platform for Demat account, they have many hidden charges, I lost money not in trade , in der hidden charges. My ID MJ20041987, so far I have lost 20 k , just cos of some hidden charges, when u contact them , each one will tell different reasons. Better don't use this platform, you will loose your hard earned money
