I excitedly opened youth plan with no brokerage at all but later I have found that it steals money from your profit and when coustomer service is contacted it never responds. I sincerely recommend not to open any account with kotak if you love your hard earned money. I usually trade in currency segment and found that it had converted my two intraday profits into loss and when I checked my contract notes of the same date I cought them. They are thieves. This is my honest review.

I always earned profit but instead of going up my Funds are keep decreasing.

Hello There, please post your quarry with SEBI they will defiantly help you and punish them.

Franchisee Aspirants beware, don't be surprised if u get mail for termination of Franchisee without any reason or change in brokerage sharing in their favor after taking all the clients. I have the recorded mail giving no reason for change in agreement unilaterally.

Secondly, Their platform is full of problems. Back end office portals are very pathetic. Trading platform is very slow i.e. response time for buying and selling is slow, difference of almost 5 - 10sec in ticker price movement which can lower ur chances in trading

I opened my first ever Demat account with Kotak Securities and am super happy! The app is easy, breezy and just makes it so much easier to trade. Besides, I am also getting zero brokerage on intraday trades.

Pathetic KB neo software for trading,takes ages to square off till rhebinvestor loses both his profit, capital and patience. The CST team is trained to act sympathetic at times turn deaf when receive complaints by investors....high time should be listed as fraudsters....SEBI TO TAKE NOTE THAT BVIZ IF SUCH FRAUDULENT BANKS AND THEIR PRODUCTS INVESTORS WILL LOSE INTEREST IN TRADING

Kotak securities is one of the worst run securities I have dealt with. Discount brokerages give you better service (without taking any brokerage). KSL will randomly have issues where you have no access to your portfolio and hence potentially lose money. They keep doing upgrades during market hours which inhibits the clients from making trades. VERY POOR SERVICE.

No real issues get resolved - they just push you to a limit where you finally ignore the issue. That is the way to resolve they problem solve.

All reports are inaccurate and they take months to try to rectify it - and thats still not been resolved.

Better going with a discount brokerage like Zerodha - where they actually solve the problems within 24-48 hours.

Selling and buying rates are indicates shown fraudly , time different more than 5 seconds, so it is seated chane of my money, I lost lot of money

One worst feature forgot to mention in my early post.
I had transferred bulk of my shares to my son, & still after 1-2 year, they still show in my portfolio. When I asked local KS guy, he said to find DP Available stock, it show my correct holding, but portfolio tracker or statement if holdings or gainloss statement still those shares transferred before years.

They are the biggest cheaters and criminals in the brokerage industry. I have had a franchisee. They took away all my clients and terminated my franchisee without any reason.

Besides, the support from the staff of the kotak securities is worst. For almost 2 years I have the franchisee, but the systerm is in mess and they are working even worst than any PSU Banks. For an example, they took almost six months to update the brokerage slab for which I had requested through mail.

If you are okay with worst customer support, and expect no services and give higher brokerage charges (as they do not give customer support to those who do not give them good brokerage on daily basis).

I would recommend to NOT open account with Kotak securities. It is an expensive account, all charges are highest in the categories. One feature which is the worst / not present is that if there is lock-in on your shares, it is not shown on Kotak Securities. If you sell them by chance, you will incur penalties. New platforms like Zerodha will not show those shares as available for trade. On top of that when I wrote to customer care, they sai d it was my fault that I did not know that Yes Bank shares have lock-in. I had to open this account as a company requirement and this penalty was the last nail in the coffin. I would close my account after almost 10 years.

Kotak Securities surely offers impressive benefits! I am especially enjoying zero brokerage with no brokerage plan and the margin trading facility. I highly suggest everyone to get the Kotak trading experience!
