12% AR means in retail 1,44,00,000 shares below less than 2 lakh From 6.5 cr shares if you minus 1.44 cr shares Then 5 cr shares available for general category. Now 66 lakh shares available for general category Then 13% around ratio will be there.
I have tendered in Zerodha few days back but still shares not debited. In case of MOIL it was debit very fast post tendering. Zerodha showing order received. IS same case with other users?
ColdBurger ji, When you tender the shares, they will be blocked in the first instance. At the time of finalising the acceptance, all the tendered shares will be debited and then the unaccepted shares will be credited back to the Dmat account normally in a day or two.
DSR JI, At the outset, I beg for your excuse for my delayed reply. I am rather occupied with my domestic family affairs fully and have not studied about any open market Buybacks. I am extremely sorry for my inability in this regard. Thank you very much for your consideration.
I have 300 shares of Matrimony.com as on recorded date. I have applied 150 shares under buy back offer. 32 shares were accepted under buy back offer. What is the criteria for this allotment?

Sir, You have tendered 150 shares only though you are holding 300 shares on the Record Date. Acceptance will be based on the number of shares tendered for the buyback subject to the maximum number of the shares held on the Record Date. That’s why I used advise to tender all the shares held on the Record Date to get the maximum benefit.
Acceptance ratio in Retail:- 21.50%. The reason for low acceptance is because of the huge participation of retail in the single share strategy. There is an approximate jump of 35,000 number of shareholders in the retail category between March 2022 and the Record date (as per LOF).
Very Low acceptance in Non-retail:-8.80% even in the case where the promoter has not participated.
Mohsin Ji, we used to invest lakhs of rupees in these buybacks and take risk of market fluctuation on unaccepted shares, and remain invested for 90 days to 120 days still not getting enough return when there is so much good premium between CMP and buyback price.
In the end, we exit at par or in the loss. Price in the market falls immediately after the ex-date and one day before the date of credit of unaccepted shares. And all benefits are taken by a small retailer who is participating in a single share. Out of 97,000 shares in this buyback, approximately 30K to 35K are such people who participated by single share and due to them, we are losing badly.
Now buyback does not remain that attractive what it used to be in last years.
Mayur Uniquoters:- AR=6.5%, Gulf Oil:- AR=25.50% but a fall in the market price resulted in overall loss, KPR Mill:- AR=32.50% earned a small amount of profit, FDC:- AR=12% the gap between the record date and the settlement date was very long, Sarda Energy and Minerals:- AR=37%, Motilal Oswal:- AR=32%, Ashai Songwon:- AR=7%, Zydus Health Care:- AR=12%, Sinclair Hotels and Indiamart resulted in a very less acceptance ratio.
Date of Opening of the Offer - Friday, August 26, 2022 Date of Closing of the Offer - Friday, September 9, 2022 Last date for payment of consideration to public shareholders who have tendered their Equity Shares - Friday, September 23, 2022
I am trying to place the BUYBACK order through CDSL's easiest I am running into an issue. I am unable to see "CM ID" when placing the request in CDSL easiest website. I think I need to add the BO ID of the PAYTM MONEY. Upon some search I found that BO ID is "1100001000024223". When I enter this BOID as Trusted Account in "Edit Trusted Accounts" , then CDSL throws this error which reads as " Easiest Trusted User Cannot Map CM Early PayIn Acct".
I am struck here at this point. Time is running away. Any help to resolve this issue and move forward would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi all, I got the mail saying that I am eligible to tender 49 shares! What will happen let's say if I tender 100 shares? Will my whole order be rejected including the minimum 49 that I'm eligible or the 49 will go through no matter what and the rest will be sent back to my Demat account? And how many shares is a reasonable amount to tender as I have 1075 shares in total? Please help me out. Thanks!!

Hylax ji, Please tender all the shares held on the Record Date to get the maximum benefit. Generally, acceptance will be more than the entitlement of 49 shares. All the best.
