YOU CAN OPEN A DEMAT A/C IN GEOJIT BNP PARIBAS, THEN YOU CAN GIVE PHYSICAL SHARES TO GEOJIT FOR DEMATRILIZASTION.

i have opened an account with geojit.i am using platinum platform.I have following queries-
1)What is cash trading,BTST and MTF.Delivery trading comes under which section.
2)What is time condition?
3)How can I place an stop loss buy order with buying at market price?
4)what is disc qty?
5)how to check intraday buying power?
6)if i buy a share in delivery trading and sell it on tha same day then brokerage will be of intraday or delivery.

I have a online trading account with Geojit. I have stocks of Dabur which have declared dividend (ex dividend date is 3rd aug). I still haven't received the dividend. Can you please tell me how will I receive the dividend? Will I get it by cheque or will I receive it in my geojit account?

FOR TRANSFERRING SHARES FROM IIFL, YOU HAVE FILL THAT DIS BOOKLET MENTIONING GEOJIT'S DEMAT A/C NO. AND GIVE TO IIFL OFFICE. WITHIN 48 HOURS THEY WILL TRANSFER YOUR SHARES TO GEOJIT'S DP.

I have found very bad experience of Geogit.I wish to open Dmat N trading a/c.I call 3-4 times to their branch office.every time they make fool by promising me that they are sending person but the person not yet come.If this is service offered by them before opening a/c then what you can expect service after opening account?
and this are the people who claim that our service is at par with industry.

Thanks Mr.Geojit for your prompt reply.I want to open a Demat cum trading account with geojit.I have few more queries-
1.I am staying in a small town in U.P. where there is no shop of yours is there.Nearest shop is in Agra which is still around 100 km far.So can I get my account opened by sending the documents by post.If yes then at what address.How much is the fee for opening the account and cheque should be made in the favor of what name?
2.I have a slow internet connection (115 kbps).As per the above article Flip Lite platform will be best suited. So later on can I switch over to another platform when I will be having a fast internet connection.Is Flip Gold platform is not recommended at all for this internet speed?
3.I have a bank account with Axis bank.Do you support this bank for online money transfer?

In which branch you have opened your a/c?
contact your branch and ask them what is your trade code.
in Geojit we give password and pin letter at the beggining of a/c opening(while filing the form) but your tradecode/login id will be generated after your form punching is the system.

AXIS BANK USED GEOJIT'S TRADING PLATEFORM,THEY DONT HAVE THERE OWN TRADING PLATEFORM, THEY ONLY HAVE DEMAT SERVICES.
SO IF YOU ARE OPENING DEMAT+TRADING A/C WITH AXISBANK THEN THEY CHARGE YOU THERE COMMISSION+GEOJIT'S COMMISSION.
BETTER THINK IS YOU OPEN DEMAT+TRADING A/C WITH GEOJIT ONLY.
THERE IS NO CHARGES FOR FUND TRANSFERRING FROM AXISBANK TO GEOJIT.

I recommend you to go with Geojit directly. Axis Bank will eat rs .2 for per 100 rs. of intraday transaction from you. So, you can avoid it opening a demat a/c directly from Geojit.

Geojit gives good credit for offline traders. For example, if you have rs 4 lacs (shares) in your a/c, you will be allowed around rs. 25 lacs margin for intraday for blue- chip shares, even if you don't have credit in your a/c. But if you're using online a/c, then you'll get margin on your cash credit base. For example, if you have rs. 1 lacs credit in your a/c, you'll get margin of around rs. 2.75 lacs.
