Applied for 13 lot but didn't a single.

DON'T know it's possible !!!

Appreciated If somebody help me to understand logic behind it.

ANDI is right ....different PANs even at same address , same contact email / phone ....no problem ....!

No transparency in allotment. I have applied for 13 lot, highest one can apply under retail category. Have not received a single lot.

You applied 1 application 13 lots. So there is no question of transparency. Your application was considered in Draw and you were not lucky. No fault at Karvy end.

when there is over-subscription, each application is granted atmost 1 lot (irrespective of how many lots you apply for)

So number of applications count incase of over-subscription

Applying 1 lot each from 13 applications will have more chance of getting picked when compare to applying for 13 lots from a single application

Surprisingly, no block deal by any Fund.
I was expecting atleast one as I had observed one, such block deal on the day of BANDHAN Bank Listing worth Rs 400cr by Nomura India.

Open intrest. Rollover. Connected to future and option trading called F&O. HDFC AMC Listed today and this share in cash sagment. We do day trading or take delivery. There is no rollover. On HDFC AMC SHARE My view bullish for long term. In short term if the share tuch nearly 1890 - 1935 then a correction. And in correction share can fall nearly 1570 - 1620.

It is ok, but there are very least possibilities to get allotment for all three account...You will get allotment for your self...or your wife ...or your children...

You will not get allocation in all three application...

There is a system in Karvy that of of same address etc... system will filtered automatically and consider one application...

One PAN, one application. That is the only criteria. In this case, eligibility of being a HDFC share holder as on 14.03.2018 also.

Not only HDFC AMC, I got similar allotments in Cochin Shipyard (Only two ... but still), Mishra Dhatu Nigam, Bharat Dynamics, to name a few latest IPO's . As I had posted earlier, I missed out in RII ( 3 appls of 1 lot each) because of lottery system. A friend of mine got 5/6 allotted in RII, his luck !!! However, all my SH applications were allotted 46/169.

You are wrong i got 4 allotments on same address

RII - Allotted 77,62,145 shares.
NII - Allotted 33,26,634 shares.
Shareholder Category - Allotted 24,00,000 shares.
Delivery on 06 August 2018 - 82,47,409 shares.
Assuming only a negligible quantity of QIB shares & Employee Category shares have been sold, 61% of the allotments have been sold.

Applied for 13 shares each in shareholder and general public.
But one of my application which has been applied through Axis Bank under shareholder quota showing fail status.
What can be the reason,can someone help/explain me the reason.
Should I take up the matter with Sebi,as it is firm allotment in SHAREHOLDER quota.

Did you have HDFC shares in your demat account on 14.03.2018, then only you become eligible to apply under share holder category. Please check !!!

No one got more than 13 shares i.e. 1 lot in retail retail category except 1 application which allotted 14 shares, due to 1 share remaining after allotment to all selected applicants.

Applicants who got more than 13 shares i.e. 1 lot, are from Shareholders quota, not from retail category.

Does these figures give any indication of what we can expect tomorrow ? Have heard in channels, open interest, roll over, etc, etc. I do not understand this.

Sold 20 shares @1822 and still holding 36.
A great person Deepak Parekh smile at the moment of listing ceremony and spread the smiles with million of retail investors who got good listing gain.
I have only 1 HDFC share purchased @1278 in 2016 which is giving me 40K plus profit.????????

many person applied only 12 lots in shareholder category and one lot in retail by giving funda that with one PAN, amount should not exceed 2 lakh....may be R R patel is one of them and got 13 in retail and 43 in shareholder category....

You are right. I also came across a few comments on similar lines. As correctly pointed out, Rs. 2.0 Lacs was the upper limit for single application.

Actually it was 2.0 Lacs (RII), 2.0 Lacs (SH) and 5.0 Lacs (Emp).

Heard on Street - 06 August 2018 will be declared as GREY MARTYRS DAY in memory of those who shorted HDFC AMC in grey.

HDFC SHAREHOLDER ALLOTMENT RATIO
1. Total application received 91,173
2. All the applicants given 13 shares minimum.
3. Total shares offered is 24,00,000.
4. So total shares offered 24,00,000 minus 11,85,249 = 12,13,751 (91,173 x 13 = 11,85,249)
5. So 12,13,751 shares given by proportionate basis.
6. Total shares applied 69,79,193 less 11,85,249 (Already given minimum lot) = 57,93,944
7. 57,93,944 divided by 12,14,751 = 4.76
8. So those who applied 156 shares category
156-13=143 divided by 4.76 = 30 shares + 13 Shares. Total 43 shares given to those applied 156 shares category.

@Ou Ai are you mad ,,I have applied many ipos including HDFC Life...saalaaa I got allotment..this One I have not received...

saalaaa u told bakuwaaas message ...Those who did not get any shares may be on account of technical rejection like PAN card matching, not being a shareholder on or before 14th March 2018.....

Its entirely wrong research go and study books
