I have received an email from them(shares) on 21.03.22, informing me that I have not traded even once during the past 11 months and if I fail to trade at least once before 31.03.22,my trading account will be classified as DORMANT account.Is their action justified in doing so?I have been holding the Demat account with them nearly for the past 18 years and there was no such advice from them before the present one?Have they any right to threaten me OR force me to trade at their will?I can trade only when the time is conducive and moreover when the prices of the shares are promising.I cannot sell my shares at lower rates.If they classify my account as DORMANT and if it is a cumbersome process to reverse my trading account,I will be constrained to sue them in the Court of Law!
