The maximum you could submit is "No. of Equity Shares held by you on the Record Date".
For example, if you held 5800 shares on record data and the email you recieved from "tcsl.buybackoffer@linkintime.co.in" says "Buyback Entitlement in terms of no. of Equity Shares = 55 shares".
If you submit 55 shares, you will have 100% acceptance. If you submit all 5800 or any other number, 55 + few additional shares will be accepted (left over from few people who may not have participated in BB).
There’s something wrong. All the entitled shares are to be accepted. Please check up the particulars once again. Please don’t think otherwise. I am surprised to note and this is the first such instance .
@Vimal Garodia ji, according to current rules, if the entitled number of shares are tendered, all of them have to be accepted. I am not sure when the case you described happened. Maybe it was before the current SEBI guidelines came into force ?
Pl inform, the maximum shares one can tender in Retail quota?
