As per BSE website on AGM date 15 March 2023 Total Number of Shareholders on record date is 66,177. Is it number of total shareholders?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

First click on Meetings then voting result then check first POSTAL BALLOT row and click on resolution link. The details will open.

See this record date is neither agm date(15/03/23) nor buyback record date(29/03/23).This is the cutoff date for eligibility regarding the evoting for approving buyback and other resolutions,which is 10/02/2023.As on 10/02/2023 total no of shareholders were 66177 and only those people/entity were eligible for participating in evoting.

Retail investors think negative when market is down.But as per my limited knowledge,1.5 lakh unique application in retail quota of a buyback is a pretty difficult thing in Indian buyback market when previous no of retail shareholders is way below that(total no of shareholders is 66177 as on 10/02/23).Remember in eclerx no of total applications is 56946.

Meanwhile teamlease also published their buyback record date today which is 03/04/23 with retail quota of 49180 shares.I am not applying here.Lets see how it goes.

By the way Total shareholders of Teamlease 20,871 (December 2022) decreased to 17,909 [ source:- https://www.bseindia.com/stock-share-price/teamlease-services-ltd/teamlease/539658/voting-results/ ].
And if retail quota is 49180 shares then i think may be one share strategy will work here.

Kul mila ke Kehne ka matlab ye he ki symphony ke shareholders jo ki December 2022 tak 51,950 the vo 10 February 2023 ki date par badh k 66,177 ho gaye he.

Lets wait for two low margin buyback to finish first.Vrl closing date 27/03/23 and sportking closing date 29/03/23.We will have a more clear picture then regarding small shareholders participation in buybacks.

1 share strategy worked there as expected.Poor participation by 1 share players may be due to low profit.
