I applied full 800 shares but got a big zero.. whole amount refunded.. dear all, please help to understand as how much to be applied to get at least one lot.

Lot size is 60 and how you applied 800 shares, you can apply multiple of 60.

ALLOTMENT STATUS.

It is so very surprising that people can log on to this board to post messages, but cannot find their allotment status.

It is very clearly shown in this page itself that the registrar to the issue are Karvy and their URL is also mentioned as http://karisma.karvy.com.

When one should guard their PAN number, it is freely disclosed to find out of all things, allotment of shares.
All they need to do is go to the web page, click on IPO status, choose Syngene and key in their PAN number.
You are instantly shown the result..

It is baffling that some people post their PAN number(s) and 10 people log on to respond saying 0 shares!!

And these people want to make money in shares....
Talk of investor education!!!

Forget investor education, these folks need a course on how to protect their identity and personal information.

For those who are leaving their PAN #''s on the message board. Please be aware that it can be used to rob you off your life savings. Be smart, don''t share personally identifiable information like PAN #, date of birth, last name, etc on public forums.

@Rasesh...IPO application No. would be of 8 digits. Ur 2nd no. is of 7 digits only. Something is wrong. Check via PAN no. It''s easier.
