When is the auction day of Sheela foam? I had short sell delivery obligation of the stock on last Friday. As per my knowledge, today should be auction day.

Some time amount is not blocked by the bank. If no allotment means no allotment. Be happy.

At 1340 the PE of this company will become 55x.. which will be higher than almost all other listed consumer companies.. which this company may not command, especially because of low growth (FY16 growth was only 9%)...

Actually only 22.8 lakhs shares are in non qib portion, as retail was subscribed only 0.44 times. Of which 21lakhs+ are already marked for delivery on day one.

Buy it now it may go to 1340 in this week

Hi All, This is my first message/post in this forum.

As per my understanding/knowledge auction price will be decided based on share movement in next 2 days (T+2 days). The auction is conducted every day between 2:00 pm and 2:45 pm. So in your case it should be on Tuesday 13th December. Exchange will be decided auction price in that time window based on share price.

Auction price range will be 0 20% (+ or -) for the shares which listed under B category which has been told by your broker correctly when share price went up. There is other scenario when stock goes down.
Let us see first scenario:

Case 1: Share price went up
      In your example, you sold 20 shares at 1032. On T+1 day if share price closes at 1100,
      If upper circuit happened on T+2 (will be decided based on T+1 price), then you have to pay 1320 per each share.
      If exchange people buy this share at 1150, then you have to pay 118 rupees as penalty for each share.

Case 2: Share price dropped
      Assume after you sold the share of Sheela @ Rs.1032 the price of Sheela dropped and closed at 1000/- on (T+1,       Monday). On the auction day (T+ 2) if the auction buy price is Rs 980. The client won’t get the benefit of lower auction price as the exchange wants to discourage short delivery. This benefit will be transferred to the Investor Protection Fund.

Surprising .... it went all the way upo 1162 on opening ..... & then in 5 mins came down by more than Rs 200 ......?
