Even i am also facing the same issue. I had applied through icicidirect.com and made the 2nd installment payment long back. But still these are not tradable in my account. Can anyone help me whom to contact in this regard?
dear arvind and all other friends.. its a problem that many of us have not got these shares alloted .. and karvey people are mute over this.. but u are not to bother karvey for this.. try mailing icici people.. they will surely help as they helped me also..i am giving u an e-mail which can solve your query.. investor@icicibank.com
well... the mail to karvy people are bouncing . thats true.. but all those who dont have their Dmat account with icici direct .. please check it .. cause the much awaited allotment of partly paid shares is being done.. u will soon get an oppertunity to trade these shares also... ADH
I have not yet got the 24 shares into my account. I trade through ICICI Direct. I haven't got any response from karvy, where they direct me to call a chain of telephone numbers, but finally end up with some number with no response. And the email IDs provided in the DRHP and the ones provided by the ICICIcall center people are bouncing (icici_ipo@karvy.com, icici_fpo@karvy.com).
Is there any one facing the same situation/? Any suggestions on what to do in this regard please?
The shares listed on 9th august were not partly paid shares but full paid shares of ICICI Bank which have probably been issued due to ESOP’s of ICICI Bank being exercised.
partly paid shares of icici have not been listed till date. while other people are making money by buying fuly paid shares and selling them off.. we are just waiting like mute spectators with our funds blocked.. icici which was not evn fully subscribed has played a smart trick in their favour by holding investors money for such a long time.. beside all news and assurances.. the shares have not been alloted as yet..what to talk of trading..
i wonder what icici people are thinking... they promised to allot the shares within 15 days of payment of call money.. but its almost one month.. they have not even alloted them ...
That is why I asked. Initially the ICICI FPO(scrip name showing ICIPPS) was not available for trsding but on 8th or 9th of August i got the message from ICICI that your demat account is credited with 24 numbers of ICICI shares. and also the link for selling it is now available.
i have not got party paid shares alloted to my account though i paid the money.
can anyone clarify if these shares have been listed.. i dont think so.. if u say they are listed can u please quote the script code. ICICI people told me that the partly paid shares will be alloted in 3rd week of august.. and in no way they can be listed. the price of 435 that you see under market value is being displayed only to those who have icici direct account. otherwise the shares are not yet alloted to many.. and forget about trading them . has anyone traded those shares.
Applied and got 24 ICICI FPO using part payment. But in profile scrip name shows ICIPPS(with maket value showing Rs 435.7 only but ICICI Bank price is something like Rs 835) in my demat account. Have given Rs 500 per share till now. So is it different scrip (when we go for part payment)where i have got share per Rs 500 whose market price is Rs 435. Effectively if i take 835 as market price then is it the case that i paid Rs 1000 per share. Please clarify if any one opted for part payment.
ICICI BANK PARTLY PAID SHARES current price in BSE is 435 rupees. So you have loss of 65 rupees per share. Although it is not listed in NSE. Since this is correction time hence you need to hold atleast a month or two to get your actual money back.
In ICICI Direct you can search the name ICIPPS for the price details at BSE.
I still do not see my money being debited from my A/c or the shares getting allotted to my demat account. What do we do? Is this the case with many of you guys as well.

It has been a month ICICI pref.shares had been alloted and the partially money for the shares had been completely paid, still the ICICI bank is lacking in allocating the shares to the respective shareholders. I feel ICICI Bank and its allied sources are cheating the shareholders. The last date for the due Amt to be paid was 26/07/2007 and for those who had paid the due Amt were supposed to get the ICICI pre. shares directly/auto allocated to their Demat account which has not happened so far. Don\'t know when the ICICI will wake up?
Your feed back will be appreciated.
