For everyone in doubt if they can buy tomorrow during diwali muhurat and can get shareholder category reservation please note that shareholders should have share in demat 1 day prior to RHP filing date.

When you buy a share it goes into clearing same day just like a cheque goes into clearing. Then next day amount you paid to buy share is sent to person who sold. That is why when you sell IPO on listing funds are available next day, T+1.

And from his demat share will be taken out (debit) next working day and deposited in your account (credit). From 2023 it has become one day process.

On nay regular day it looks easy and simple like one who bought on Friday will have share on Monday in his demat. But tomorrow there will be only trading and no clearing or settlemenf so your money will move to seller on Monday via clearing and reach him on Wednesday since Tuesday is a holiday. Same way you bought on Sunday and share will be debited from seller on Monday and will reach you on Wednesday only.

Since a company needs atleast one week prior to launch date to file RHP, most possible date of RHP is 15th. If it files RHP on 13th those who bought on Friday will be out too. So already peole (like me) who bought on Friday will get share in demat on Monday and need to pray that RHP is filed on 15. No way Sunday or Monday buyers will be benefited but if someone has to take chance its not big amount and try, no worries if not allowed in shareholder quota, keep it in portfolio and forget.

Shares bought on Muhrut trading on Sunday, 12th are credited on 13th Monday. Still followed T+1. So, the hypothesis that it will be delivered on Wednesday was incorrect. All those who bought now are eligible for shareholder quota if RHP is filed on 13th onwards as records are taken end of the day.

As seen in past issues, it is likely that shareholder quota will be far more oversubscribed than retail quota making allotment chances are better in retail!

Basically It depends upon the Pan number. If you are applying for 2nd holder and your Pan number is showing for 1st holder and then ypur application will be a third party application and it may rejected.

Does 2nd bank a/c holder's IPO application also considered as 3rd party ASBA?

I raised the question many times in branch.
They compared "THIS THING" with manual transections, like
"either or surviver "

I have joint account with 3 family members and I am the 2nd holder in all that accounts. If am applying for the 2nd account holder then the respective pan of the that account holder will select and if I am applying for the first account holder then the first account pan will select.
I have applied for the 2nd account holder and got the allotments like RR kabel, cello and Blue Jet.

I was unaware about Tuesday holiday. And that vanishes whatever chances were there. Because settlement of Sunday will happen on Wednesday now that is one will get share in demat on Wednesday. Atleast 1 week is required to file RHP for SEBI nod. Only thing one can do now is spend 150 bucks and pray to God.

Also, there will be low subsription in Retail and high in SH if there will be any quota. Can expect 5x in retail and 15-20x in SH. So chances are anyways more in Retail. So take chance but also know SH category is just increasing chances and not confirmation of allotment.

Still RHP is not Filed
Best Chance to Buy 1 share of Federal Bank trading at 148 Rs.

It will be A 40% listing gain candidate with Strong allotment chances

One of the most awaited good ipo.NBFC arm of Federal Bank. Will see good subscription figures. Worth applying. Sure the valuations will be reasonable
