Today's Synoptics listing disappointed. Experts please suggest what to do if opens in -ve or if +ve when to exit. One expert, sorry I didn't remember his ID, perfectly advised to sell URBANWASTE on the day of listing.

Globalpet was having 2% GMP only. Listed about 6% Up. Having continuous UC. Now trading about 20% up with strong UC intact. So good stocks do perform regardless of GMP.

I believe this is also a good stock. Should perform above expectations.

​@Noorul , what was X factor in Proventus Argo?, 3 crore equity and 20 crore carry forward loss, issued @ 771/- but today’s price is 1150/- never gone under 771/- after listing. This is the beauty of equity market. May be possible happen in this IPO also but fingers cross.

I think you don't know the whole story of proventus.. many ultra HNIs and big houses were backing that Ipo.

Friends employees kota reserved for parent company has also been subscribed 1.38 times. Does this not signals the confidence of employees in their group co. After all employees has invested 1.30 crores which comes out to be 10% of the total issue.

Don't be guided byGMP alone. If the Fundamentals of the Stock are good, negative GMP turns out to be positive. Recent Issues of Aatmaj, KORE, CELLPOINT, SPECTRUM were assigned +GMP whereas they listed in negative. Magson, Veefin, CFF FLUID were assigned -ve GMP and they are listed positive. The only Major determining factor is Valuation perspective of a Stock.

@vnrao, absolutely correct. Completed 40 years in this market. Fundamentally good stocks will give you decent returns in long term. This market is only for long term investor. Stay invested and get good returns.

Yeh alphalogic is defying all logic. GMP persisting with heavy discount.

Actually. Looks like promoters are not good at managing gmp Or why would anyone sell allotted application at less than buy price?

In the case of HMA industry all were on negative. what happened in listing?those who applied and sell in first fifteen minutes get good profit. So GMP is not the right indication.

Promoters are share holder friendly is the sole positive in this IPO.

How? They should have held both company under one umbrella. If it is so good company, previous investors are devoid of its growth now. Look at Reliance, how they are running multiple business under one roof.

Which bank will give loan to the company @7.20%, in this case they got the loan from IDFC bank. It shows the promoter’s goodwill.
