Jigar ji, Yes, you can buy MOIL shares worth upto 2 lakhs in each different dmat account for better AR. ( How retail category is arrived at? Please see other pages for reply) Yes, it is more beneficial as the acceptance rate will be more in such cases. But in the case of NUCLEUS, it is different n in opposite way. Thank you n all the best.
Retail category for the purpose of the buyback is as detailed below: As defined under Regulation 2(i)(n) of the Buyback Regulations, a “Small Shareholder” is a Shareholder who holds Equity Shares whose market value, on the basis of closing price on Stock Exchanges as on Record Date, is not more than ₹ 2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakh only). As on the Record Date, suppose the volume of particular Equity Shares traded on BSE was 1000 Equity shares and on NSE was 1500 Equity Shares. Accordingly, NSE, being the stock exchange with highest trading volume, the closing price of that particular share was suppose ₹ 100 at the NSE and hence all Shareholders holding not more than 2000 Equity Shares as on the Record Date are classified as ‘Small Shareholders’for the purpose of the Buyback Offer…..( 2000x100=200000 not more than 2 lakhs) Hope it is clear now…. Thank you.
