I am new to stock trading. My friends asked me not to go for full broker and open an account with discount broker instead. Even then i went ahead and opened an account with Angel. The account opening process was easy and quick. I opted for most basic plan (Angel Classic) and when the sales executive visited me I clarified about the brokerage which was not told at the time of account opening).
Still its not the high brokerage that concerns me, it is the way they treat their customers. I got my account opened on Aug23, traded on 24th and 25th and after seeing their pathetic customer service i opted for payout and withdrawn all my funds. In short i suffered a loss of around Rs.800 just for trading in two days(excluding the loss/profit i made in trading). So Angel may be good for bigshot traders but not for newbies.
