Today's GMP please.

If a person has applied for 13 lots in shareholder category -400*13 at the rate of Rs 35 per share and 1 lot for retail main category@ 37 per share .Then for treating a person as retail calculation will be done 182000+14800=196800 or 192400+14800=207200

A person who INVEST less than 2 lacs in a share is retail trader. So it is treated as Rs.196800. I have also applied the same pattern. Experts pl correct me of I am wrong.

I have question please clarify ! i applied for 1 lot Ujjivan so on allotment day if i am lucky then do get total 400 shares or it can be in any numbers like 100, 200, 300 depends on availability of shares?

Either 400 or nothing.

Yep, i guess u r right, last time i applied for D-mart shares 2lots nothing got ! just empty hands

Polycab, HDFC BK, Bata, Titan, Ncc, Gujarat Gas, Jyothy lab, Federal BK, Manappuram can be bought for medium to long term.

If want to take some calculated risk, then add Yes BK, Rbl BK and Indiabulls Housing also.

For taking advantage in shareholder category of upcoming IPO, must buy at least one share of SBI, Reliance, Equitas, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, KOTAK BK.

Anyway, hold your cash, wait for a small correction in Polycab ( likely after free run) and re- enter in Polycab only.
It's a best buy at this level also considering the coming Budget event.

Can anybody let us know, what is the cutoff date for SBI BANK Shate to become eligible for sbi card.

Having said that if i buy today of SBI bank..am I eligible for SBI cards under shareholder..

It is always good to have the SBI bank shares in your bucket, irrespective of the apply for any SBI subsidiary stocks.

Definition of eligible shareholder is there in the law or is it at the discretion of the Company? For e.g. cut off date to become eligible shareholder in case of HDFCAMC was date of filing of Draft Red Herring Prospectus.

Please clarify.

@retail, SBI, LIC, Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda each hold 18.5 percent stake in the UTI AMC. The remaining stake is held by US company T Rowe Price.

SBI will sell 8.25% of it's stake part of compliance requirement.

Avoid HDFC OFS since you can get at the same price from secondary market.

I have few queries on IPOs that are oversubscribed.

1.If i have applied 13 lots in RII category, will i get 0 or 13 lots alone? or is there any chances of me getting 1 lot or say 3 lot or 7 lot etc.?

2. If i have applied 1500 lots in NII category, will i get 0 or 1500 lots alone? or is there any chances of me getting 1 lot or say 200 lot or 700 lot etc.?

3. If subscription of NII and RII is same (ex: both has 50x subscription), which one of the below has more chances of listing?
a. Will 13 lots in RII have more chances? (ie Max possible RII subscription)
b. Will 14 lots in NII have more chances? (ie Min possible NII subscription)
I wanna know if i had applied for 14 lots, will i be eligible for NII postion, which has a greater chances of allocation as my NII lots subscription is very very low?

All applicants of shareholders category will get minimum 1 lot. Remaining shares will be distributed prorated basis. See Arjun's post number-591 for approximate number of shares yo will be allotted.

In retail max allotment per allottee will be 400 only; no point in applying for 1800 and blocking money; althoughslightly better chance for 1800 compared to applicants for 400. But may not be worth it.

If i hold 1 share of ujjivan from last 1 year ,am i eligible to apply in shareholder quota
