I said I purchased this for long term though after seeing week listing i thought i would have purchased directly lols.

I have great hopes from Bombay Velvet now. If that movie performs well on the box office then UFO would gain huge profit as now owing to short span on box office. Distributor margin has increased & film producer margin has decreased.

was alotted 312 shares, sold 250 @613. holding rest , hope can get 10 to 12% in few weeks

Check now its at 617 almost at issue price.
people who sold earlier made a big mistake
it is behaving similar way as shemaroo entertainment.

this has moved to stronger hands. i see good upmove in coming months as well.

Everyone is just looking it for trading purpose . offcourse the premium was not there becaof subscription

but do remeber company is largest space in digital media and sooner or later that would come in being.

you will see stock cross 750 in 3-6 months.

i have bought 200 shares at 590 yesterday with a view for investment.

remember applying on ipo and selling on listing day is not investment but just subscription premium.

(3) there is a huge scope for digitalization in India as it cuts piracy and offers high quality viewing experience.

Since sept''14 there has been a general earning downgrade of most companies. We are looking at least another quarter of underperformance. Businesses aren''t picking, corruption is in place and very little changes are actually taking place in terms of ease of doing business. So, while market touched new highs, on hope of radical reforms, the underlyings aren''t supporting as such. According to me this is a sell on rise market. Rural economy is slowing down with multiple problems related to crop failure, poor monsoon, delay or lack of subsidy. All in all immediate outlook is weak.

oh...go...i lost in Adlabs and UFO IPO''s. VRL and INOX didnt get allotted. those are doing good. not doing good which are allotted. my bad luck.....ooooops...:)

keep holding both stocks adlabs and ufo moviez , both are good for long term and the space they are in entertainment and digital media is liked by foreign investors. you will make money in few months.

Sometimes our predictions and expectations go wrong. UFO moviez surprisingly did not list well though market conditions is one of the reasons. I was expecting listing gains but this did not happen.

I will however hold this for 3 to 6 months so that I can see good returns. My decision to invest in this IPO has gone wrong but I think they have priced it very stiffly and if this kind of IPO''s come, it indicates market crash in future.

Exactly this one and PNC priced exorbitantly.

Remember Mukta Arts and Balaji Telefilms. All was going well for Balaji as their all sas bahu serials were hit. What the stocks have done? UFO has lost money for you on the first day itself. Shun this stock like plague. It may give opportunity to institutional investors to exit at small profit as per understanding but long term future is bleak. Reliance Securities had recommended this dud stock and made me lose money on this.

IN LONG RUN THERE ARE LOTS OF STOCK TO WATCH - BUT WE WONT BE THERE TO KEEP AN WATCH ON THEM,
SO BETTER NOW SELL & GET THE MONEY FOR OTHER BETS

SJR, if you sell now and buy later..you will end up buying it at a higher price.(coz normal behaviour of equities is to gain in long run) Also, on top of it, if you sell now..you will definitely lose. So, don''t understand your strategy

I won''t say it''s a bad listing as such. That much loss you can expect from a good IPO as well.
