Retail investers should avoid overpriced IPO ...should teach a lesson to promoters .But Again as in ICICI SEC ipo we were cheated by MF house whom we trust and put our money...

Lead managers make hype and mislead small investors to garner maximum price.
Market conditions are not the same when every IPO, irrespective of the pricing gave huge return.
Now even huge subscription is no guarantee for solid returns.
Moreover, this sector is highly competitive and there's nothing exclusive about its products.
