The anchor list seems to be good. Any specific reasons for not applying (apart from not so good subscription numbers) ?
Gland Pharma''s numbers were also bad, QIB 6.4x, NII 0.51x, RII 0.24x, and the total was 2.06x. Still, the listing was good and performed well after that too.

Seeing the fundamentals and customers of company, i feel company is not bad. Those customers will be long term and will require its products for long. But very poor response from QIB is worrisome. I am confused, Brain says Do not Apply but heart says Apply.
@DD.....I too was in the same dilemma. Finally, but reluctantly, the mind won over the heart and I didn''t apply. Actually, should have applied for a lot just to keep the ecitement alive.
@GJ, I avoided it purely due to low subscriptions (I also had thought of applying SJS. then changed my mind as I want apply future IPO''s, dont want to get struck)
We cant compare gland with any others to be honest. (Gland is once in a while golden opportunity for risk takers, I applied heavily through 2 accounts that time even after knowing poor figures)
@DuckkyDuck, Hope you gone with what your heart said. (some times big risk, will fetch greater returns, hopefully SJS will give return those who applied)
Btw, thanks for your reply in Airtel rights forum, it was very helpful (got 2013 shares after successful rights application)
Thanks

Few examples like Gland Pharma, Chemplast sanmar, Macrotech, Craftsman & Nureca, performed very nice, inspite poor subscription, but such miracles happen very rarely. Most often then not, poor subscription more corelate with poor listing (listing in minus). On contrary, quite opposite can also happen, e.g. good subscription figures amongst multiple ipos, marginal positive listing & current 30% below ipo price is KRSNAA DIAGNOSTICS & 50% below is APOLLO MICRO SYSTEMS - this is rare example of reverse thing). What I found that, rather than absolute RII, QIB or NII subscription figures, ratio between RII & NII is also important. Overall figures may be low or high, if NII to RII ratio is high (NII subscription is relatively more than RII sub), IPO most probably will list better & fare better, but is NII:RII ration is less (RII more interrested than HNI), IPO most probably going to fail or not perform expectedly. Most importantly, the QIB subscription levels are very critical. The higher it is, the better chances of listing premium except for few IPOs who price it very highly. The quality of anchor book also matters. And also rightly said by SamJos, a high NII:RII ratio means good for listing at premium.

@DuckkyDuck, I am also bit inclined with company''s business and it''s future growth. Having pending UPI mandates, will decide before Monday (08-Nov-2021) 12 PM about accepting or ignoring. Probably going to accept atleast 1 mandate.

@MRavi, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree, can''t compare Gland with it, just gave an example.
Lombi ji isliye tohh janta apko konsi lombi bulati he?...chalak wali lombdi....SJS me Koi bech nahi para, lekin chalak lombdi ne gharak dhund nikala....badiya.
Retail me 1 application ka batting on, just for fun
Nothing much wrong with fundamentals, stable growth. It simply got overshadowed by other giants with huge demand.
Sigachi and Policy Bazaar me demand zyada, Nykaa me massive funds staked aur thoda bohot Fino me normal retailer apna maal pehle hi fasa liye. Toh yaha kuch bacha nahi, toh scapegoated.

Now issue has scraped through but who will buy on listing day? It is not like Gland which saw QIB demand from day 1 and only factor out there was China one
One of the issue should flop , so other issues ipo price will be reasonable Let SJS ENTERPRISES limited only be flop and retailers who have applied should cancel their application
