How does the allotment chances vary if I apply for 2 lots vs 10 lots ? Isnt allocation lottery in both cases and equal probability ?

Or chances of allotment is more for 10 lots ? If yes, why ?

My understanding is that no preference within NII or Retail, meaning within category. 1 out of 2 vs 50 out of 100 is all same. Say for example 2 people only applied for 10 lots and 100 people applied for 2 lots, then ratio is all the same for allotees as I said earlier 1 will get out of 2 applied for 10 lots and 50 will get out of 100 applied for 2 lots. so the ratio will remain same (mathematically).

Dont put entire money in Sona Machinery (Good IPO from house of Hem). Spare some money for Shree Karni/ Koura.

Both Shree Karni/ Koura will give bumper returns, but we might feel shortage of funds as refunds from Sona machinery will not be available for this IPo, due to Mahashivratri holiday.

@svh Ji, nice observation. Members must have observed the importance of LM from the listing of Mukka (with more than double GMP). The question is how to believe Horizon.
