if you apply FF in shree karni, you'll have to skip pune estock and if you apply FF in pune estock you'll have to skip both shree karni and pratham. what strategy most people here going for?

​@Heathslayer Mostly I'm skipping Shree Karni and disturbing equal funds to apply in both Pune and Pratham EPC.

​@Unknown Man No, we cannot apply for more than 5 lakh with UPI, please use ASBA for that purpose. ASBA is far more stable..

LM track record is bad but maybe coz they handled IPOs with no fancy among investors. having said that cosmic CRF is trading at triple it's IPO price in six months, so can't say LM is that bad.

I have a new HDFC minor account with PAN updated. Whenever I try to apply for minor, getting error message as" age should be atleast 18 years".
Anybody facing issue with Minor HDFC account for IPO?

Don't need to fill DOB. Any one get allotment in minor account of HDFC and if yes then can we sell directly it from minor account.

In case shares are allotted, can you sell them from Minor's account directly?

Good : DD has given Apply rating. Good fundamentals.
Bad : Worst track record of LM. All previous 3 IPOs handled by LM had less or negligible GMP and listed in discount. This one has good GMP.

Decision : Waiting for QIB numbers for some confidence.

Applied 3 retails and 1 HNI.

Where to apply SME IPO in Kotak Neo? Although Mainboard IPOs are there, but not able to find SME IPO in IPO section to apply. Respected member of CG please give your valuable reply in this regard.

I will distribute my SME funds (whaever available now) in the ratio of 50:50 between Shree Karni & Koura.

Shree Karni Positives :
1. Good Financials. Growth in profit. Reasonably priced @ 13 PE.
2. Within Textiles, niche segment, ample growth opportunity.
3. DD sir's apply rating
4. Good GMP.
5. GOOd HNI Numbers expected on last day.
6. 50% reserved for QIB, Leaving appox 21 crores worth of shares with public (HNI & Retail)

Shree Karni Negatives:
1. Poor LM performance.

Koura Positives:
1. Excellent track record of LM
2. Small size IPO of appox 5 crores, as such no chance of negative listing. Rather being a BSE share, in all probability, this will list @ 90% up upper cercui.
3. Bumper GMP.

Koura Negatives :
1. Average financials.
2. DD sir's avoid rating
3. small size, difficult allotment.

First two days subscriptio shows, HNI category in both the issues are almost equally subscribed in number of times. Whereas retail segment of KOURA has subscribed around 2.5 times that of Shree Karni.

Therefore I will try to equally distribute my funds between Koura & Shree Karni with following riders :

1. If I have only one lots funds in an accoynt , I will go for Shree Karni (Higher allotment chances due to size and subscription.)
2. I will avoid making upto three lots application in Shree Karni as this will have same impact as that of a retail application. Rather, those accounts where I have less than 10-12 lacs balance, I will go for one lot in shree Karni and remaining amount in Koura.
3. Large balance above 12-15 lacs, I will use in Karni and koura in 50:50 ratio.

If some one has suggestion for betterment, kindly guide/ comment.

IDFC First Bank is really good with no charges and easy to apply for IPO in less than a min… also they interest rate is better than many other banks…

Earlier issues of this LM were majorly fixed price (without QIB quota).
This company looks good and 50% QIB quota gives more confidence.
I have ignored LM track record in this case and applied to the maximum extent I could.

A big question - kya Horizon ko apni karni ka phal milega (MVK foods listing) ki investors GMP hi follow karenge.

​@ipo share  I believe thats where fundamentals kick in, keeping GMP aside. This one has QIB, while MVK without any QIB was larger in size and hence it becomes difficult for LM to manage, which Horizon could not deliver. On the other hand the financials of this one look a bit less cooked up. Shree Karni clients are noteworthy and with no listed peers in sight as compared to MVK.

Agree with @MuStrFc LMs mistake was in bringing MVK at a horrible valuation when it's just a me-too biz in a crowded space with established ratios. This market can absorb any volumes if the price is right. 50-60 Cr IPO with or without QIB is peanuts - we've had good listing after good listing in large issues without QIB but with strong fundamentals (Atmastco & Sadhav recently, Eforce a couple of months ago) but people stay away afraid of lack of QIB (QIBs also freely sell on listing day, it's only anchors who cannot)

Only thing that matters is the fundamentals and price, and Shree Karni is a high quality, unique biz and is coming at attractive valuations.
