It was like watching a thrilling one day international cricket match with all the thrills and frills. I have never witnessed such wild movements in price on the listing day. Hope nobody from this forum has been caught going long at higher price. They would have remembered Sreedhar's advice that it is better to come out at around 58.
Congratulation to all who got allotment and exited at high. It made high of 69.7 but closed at 32.05. A perfect example of power play by major market forces. I did not got any allotment but congratulations to all who made money in this venture.

Friends- Today all are happy and giving lot of thanks to Sreedhar. Pl be sure that incase any recommended IPO of Sreedhar will fall, dont curse him, because by that one gud perosn is getting depressed.
Everybody is intelligent and I request all of you to give suggestions, pros and cons, so that it will be very suggestive to take a right decision. DONT DEPEND ON SACHIN ONLY EVERYBODY HAS TO CONTRIBUTE TO MAKE A GAME SUCCESS. R U ALL WITH ME ?
I always do trading with SBI. If it is a delivery based trading, then I did not have any problem in placing the order during the market opening time for any IPO. The information that you have mentioned is new to me.
Ofcourse they dont allow intraday trading on the first day. So you have to go for delivery and then square-off again.
I also participated in the rally finally. Finally bought some shares at 58 and sold at 68 just before it turned backwards. Now it seems to me that I have taken huge risk that too in the last minute. See the price now. Its around 45. If I did not sell that ontime, I might have ended up in huge loss.
@ SkDash, Some broking houses don't allow intraday on such IPO's which are speculated much... Especially in SBI, they wont allow intraday even delivery in some IPO, so that if i want to buy or sell means i will place an buy and sell order with a Lower n higher prices within 9.30 AM Itself, so that i will alter it later... Because after that new orders will not be accepted...
Good luck to all who had applied and made money in this as per our Expert Sreedhar's advice. And i had missed the chance, even he adviced me to apply for it and i feel for that now, ok anyway i am looking forward for next IPO pick of Sreedhar's.... I am really sorry Mr.Sreedhas, as i had not accepted your advice... Will follow you from now...
Regards, Durai...

Sreedhar
Thanks a lot for yr initiative and accurate analysis. But why intraday is not allowed on the opening day ? I tried to buy some shares on intraday basis, but could nt happen, then I bouoght on delivery basis and sold at gain and managed the loss of not applying in IPO of SPY.
Is it the rule that intraday will nt be allowed ? If know, share.
Since gray market activity was almost nil, many people would have been caught on the wrong foot. I feel really sorry for those who sold the whole allotment first thing in the morning. They would be watching the movement of SPY price with awe. Discl: I also sold a part of my holdings on my stop loss at 33 being hit.
Congratulations to all the Shekhawatians. The whole credit goes to SREEDHAR who initiated a survey, inculcated confidence, made people apply and helped them make money. Hats off to you Sreedhar! May your service continue for long!
