Hi Tanushree,

you were the person screaming on the closing day of the IPO asking people not to subscribe to the issue and giving comparison with C&C Constructions saying it will list at Rs 140/-. Now u are making a U Turn and saying it will list at 260/-. It is obvious as the grey market premium is around 115-120 Rs it will list in the range of Rs 275- Rs 300 on listing day.

Kindly clarify your new stance.

Hi Alladi,

One way you came pretty close to the finest strategy of getting allocated with more shares but you suggested to apply 10 applications for the same person...but the ideal strategy is to file different application like yours, your wife, uncle, aunt...etc ..Thats the only possibility which is globally acceptable.

Regards

It seems at present people are getting SMS by Demat
Service providers regarding alottment status. Most of my friends have received 40 shares. They did bid for maximum
shares i.e full amount.

Hi shankar,

thansk for letting me know that. infact i was not sure on that part. thatswhy i mentioned like this as my assumption.
"at this point , i assume u will be given 10 different application numbers for each lot. here u need to apply 10 times for 7k each.. within ur 1 lakh or ur desired amount(less than 1 lakh) limit."
114. Shankar |   Link |  Bookmark | July 3, 2007 7:27:25 PM
Hi Alladi,
Who the hell said you the 2nd way of investing. You cannot split your amount into 10 lots and apply 10 applications. It is not allowed by SEBI. You can apply only for one application bidding at different range. But it will go as a single Application.
Don't give such foolish suggestions and misguide others.

hi gopal,
thats what the key is,, if u are interested to invest 70k,
there are 2 ways..
1) in one go,70k amount, buy 400 shares (40X10X175) in one application.. if oversuscription happens more than 14 times in retail, it would be lottery system. so ur application for 70k is considered as only 1 entry in that lottery pool.
2) the other way is, for the same 70k, if u split that in chunks of 10 lots of 40 shares per lot, u will have 10 entries in that lottery pool, so there is a more probabilty of getting allocation. at this point , i assume u will be given 10 different application numbers for each lot. here u need to apply 10 times for 7k each.. within ur 1 lakh or ur desired amount(less than 1 lakh) limit.

if ur wish was to apply max 1 lakh (permissible amount was 98k in RTL,) u shud have applied 14 lots. instead of 1 go of 560 shares..

hope it clarifies..

lots? I invested 70K using icicidirect.com in one go?
