Which big ticket IPOs/FPOs to hit market in FY12?

1)Diagnostic services provider Super Religare Laboratories (SRL) may also come out with its IPO in FY12. SRL has filed DRHP in February 17, for a public issue of up to 2.8 crore equity shares. Recently, Avigo, through Avigo PE Investments Limited (Mauritius), its investment arm, subscribed to 9.27% of the post investment equity share capital of SRL for an aggregate amount of Rs 100 crore

2)India's largest gold financing company Muthoot Finance aims to raise Rs 901 crore at higher end of price band of Rs 160-175 a share – for augmenting capital base. It is the first big IPO in financial year 2011-12 and so far has received overwhelming response from investors with QIB book subscribed 25 times.

3)Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) FPO is likely to hit markets between June and July this year. The PSU major is planning to raise over Rs 11,000 crore via FPO. The government will be diluting 5% stake via this offer its stake going down to 69.14% from the current 74.14%

4)Kishore Biyani-led Future Ventures India is eyeing a substantial stake in women’s ethnic wear maker Biba Apparels and Info-tainment company Amar Chitra Katha, and is also seeking new opportunities to invest in the fast moving consumer goods and fashion sectors. Future Ventures has approached the capital market with an aim to raise Rs 750 crore through its issue. It will open for subscription from April 25 to April 29 at higher end of price band of Rs 10-11

5)The Rs 8,000-crore follow-on public offer of Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is set to hit the capital market by the end of next month, sources said. Mr Verma had on March 16 said that SAIL would file the red herring prospectus (RHP) in May for its forthcoming follow-on public offer. “It may happen sometime in May,” he had said when asked about the company’s plan to file the RHP. The Government holds a stake of a little over 85%

6)The Kochi-based gold and diamond retail jewellery chain Joyalukkas India plans to launch the issue by the end of May or early June, the source said. Company received SEBI's approval for its IPO sized between Rs 600-650 crore, a source added. Joyalukkas intends to deploy Rs 420.2 crore from the net proceeds for establishing 14 outlets in 14 cities by September 2013. It will also use Rs 105 crore to repay or pre-pay existing debt

7)SRS, which is in the business of cinema exhibition, food and beverages, retail and manufacturing and retailing of jewellery, plans Rs 200 crore IPO for funding expansion programme. The company has received market regulator SEBI’s nod for its IPO

8)Innoventive, which is in the business of manufacturing and sale of precision steel tubes, tubular components, auto components, machined components and other steel products, plans use the IPO proceeds of Rs 220 crore to expand its manufacturing facility (Rs 163-crore) and repayment of term loans Rs 50-crore. The issue will open between April 26-28

thank you so much subba rao, suppose when there is no ipo in pipeline if i want to pay back the OD for that also i should go in person to the bank
33. K V Subba Rao |   Link |  Bookmark | April 21, 2011 2:44:30 PM
Mr poweripo at 24: You can make FD on-line but you need to go over to the Bank and submit Application for Overdraft facility. Since your attendance at Bank is compulsory to apply for OD, better approach the Bank to submit both FD and OD applications at one time

Dear Friends:
Again a Bad Issue from the Future Group, As of now no Future group has not given any profit to the investor.
The IPO of FCH hit market on Jan 2008 at a price of Rs 765/- current price is Rs 175/- Loss of Rs 590 per share.
So now the promoter are thinking that pricing of Future Venture to keep at par only to fool investor again.

Dear GEM,

What about PFC FPO which is supposed to open in the first week of May and close on 10th May. Anyway govt. FPOs are being postponed quite often nowadays.

By the way, I have a query in bonds section. Pl see if you can clarify the doubt.

m.l.a.

my strategies and reason for applying or rejecting of current ipos:-

1) MUTHOOT FINANCE - apply, good valn
2) FUTURE GROUP - avoid, group has only promise to offer not any gain
3) PARAMOUNT - avoid, no reason required to avoid these type of cos
4) SEVALAKSMI - avoid, no reason required to avoid these type of cos
5) INNOVATIVE - avaoid, as no fund left.

i will be applying "MUTHOOT" then "GALAXY" then "BOB BOND" with the same fund one after another
