Happy to report that SEBI will not allow bid to posted unless backed by ASBA. So chances of misleading investors will go down

Any specific reason for 1000 point up in sensex? Specifically why zomato zommed so much?

Reasons for rally today:
1. Catching up with US market (Nasdaq gained 3.3% and S&P500 gained 2.5%). This is why Indian IT Stocks led rally.
2. Easing US inflation signal.
3. China reopening.
4. Declining dollar index.
Market has broke near term resistance and may move more.

Why all the sell bids are for below Rs 90 and buy for above 1400... when the indicative price is 825.... Are they bidding for market price???

Nuvoko Cement , Metro Shoes and Star Health was sold in the name of some Thuntunwala , look at the valuation now { not even 6 months since listed } . Always be alarmed when some crooked celebrity name appears in an IPO.

In the end purchase at right valuation , will prolong your stay in Indian stock market , so always research research and research about valuation.

New to this forum and keen to share my limited views on stocks - IPO's

specifically on ETHOS, ICICI PRU invested in Anchor - maybe we should get a response on what the value such a large MF sees with this investment

In today's uptrend market, this listing is poor.

Only reason is steep valuation.

Still market in bearish mode....Be careful...more downside possible...mange ur Portfolio's in bounce back

Most analyst are predicting discount of 5 to 10% .
Will come to know on tomorrow whether it is another delhivery or prudent.
One thing is sure, operators will make money and most of the retailor will loose money if they couldn't exit on time even if this list in premium as it can go down any time.

I didn't mean to say that Sunil Singhania will play any role in listing.
I don't know what he has or his team evaluated in this retail watch shop with paper thin margin business.
Sunil Singhania has excellent track record of stock picking but it seems his firm got loads of money and they are becoming part of a lot of anchor list recently.

I personally don't copy or follow any celebrity investor blindly so I have not applied in this IPO.
Will track this company for learning.

It could be one of the rare IPOs where people may not be very interested on listing day, but will be busy with other new listings such as PPL, Rainbow Children, Campus and Ruchi Soya.

Yes, it's one of least subscribed and ignored IPO. It merely got 88,476 applications which is lowest ever I have seen in main board IPO.
Let's see how it will list.

Lot of applications were not banked. Nearly three fourth. Finally they allotted to less than 19000 investors

The mood in market has changed and IPOs are no longer flavour of the month. Not hearing about any IPO opening in month of June

Interesting to see BoA... Only. 25 times in retail after technical rejection... Also QIB increased from 1.05 to 1.8 times asper BoA... Still underwriting too happened... Issue somehow managed to escape...

It fell short. Underwriting had to be done to ensure minimum 400 crore issue size as per BOA
