Its a jig saw puzzle of following pcs:

Sugar, Politicians, state/central elections, budget SOPs, Ethanol target to be 20% from current 10%, export quota raise, strong international prices.

It is very strange that only 2.68 lakh share traded out of 70 lakh.
All have kept their share for 35 rs to sell.
Very less chance of touching 35 rs.
Again LC may continue in some day

In my opinion UC won't survive too long here.

it was not expected to close above 35 today.

but it shows good strength, even with good issue size.

Bad listing as expected. Loss of more than 14%. Investors took undue risk. Listing losses and not gains. Sorry for members who got allotment.

Bad listing indeed.... But it did manage to hit UC after that.... So hopefully a couple more UC and one can recover the cost price..... Still people who applied need to check their strategy. This was a discount candidate from day 1.

Total subscription in this Issue was a mere 1.88 times amounting to about 46 cr. In contrast fancied SME IPOs attract over 100 to 300 times subscriptions valued 3000 to 4000 cr on an average. Drone cornered over 8000 cr. It is better for Investors to try their luck in such Issues, even though allotment will be very tough and only the luckiest few will get shares. Be it main board or SME IPO, saving the Principal should be the first objective .
