60. Taxman

Deduct STT from your Profit & Loss A/c for the assessment year 2009-10.

Your liability comes very little.

60. taxmen

if your other income is 70 k annually and you earn 60 k from speculation from short sell. then your total income will be Rs. 130 k, which is below the tax free amount rs. 160 k, hence you do not have to pay any taxes.

further in speculation without paying STT at buy and sell both, the income tax rate will be based on your tax bracket means in the bracket you fall

53. KHUSHBOO,

PrakashIPO has made lot of money. Hence, he has gone to tour to spend money earned in stock market.

It is good investment if it is available below 22. As the issue is priced at 82, AVOID.

This issue size is only Rs.62 crores. As such, few HNI clients can manipulate price. If you bet on manipulation, then apply with stop-loss in the IPO price band of Rs.82-77. If price falls below 77, then do not hesitate to book loss.

This is my personal opinion. You check with your financial advisor before taking any decision.

In 2009 OUT OF 14 IPOs 9 IPOs ARE BELOW ISSUE PRICE. PLEASE CHECK THE RETAIL SUBSRIBTION IN ALL THIS IPOsVERY NOMINAL. IT IS ONLY A GAME PLAN BETWEEN MERCHANT BANKERS + COMPANIES + LEAD MANAGERS + SEBI. WHY THERE ARE NO RULES FOR MUNIMUM RETAIL SUBSRIBTION.
