Are IDR holders entitled to the same rights holders of Shares?

In general for all corporate actions (including voting, right issues, the payment of dividends and other distributions), the issuer will treat IDR holders on an equitable basis vis-�-vis other holders of share in the home country of the issuer.

I read another article in moneycontrol where they have mentioned that the IDR market in India is at a very early stage. The SEBI rules are not clear for IDR holders when the company issues bonus/rights shares. Though they mentioned that the investors might get dividend without any problem but the way to distribute the bonus/rights shares will be a problem
