Ennore Port Limited NCD (Ennore Port NCD) Detail

Incorporated in 1999, Ennore Port Limited is the developer and operator of Ennore Port, India's 12th Major Port under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. Their Port is the only major port to adopt the corporate form of management. Ennore Port was developed as a green field project in the east coast of India at a distance of about 20k kilometres to the north of Chennai Port.

Ennore Port was originally conceived as a satellite port to Chennai Port, primarily to handle thermal coal to meet the requirement of TNEB now known as TANGEDCO. They are promoted by the President of India, through the MoS, GoI and Chennai Port Trust (�CHPT�).
