Pigeon ji, The shares held on the Record Date and tendered for the buyback will be debited/ blocked on the day or next day of the tendering. The unaccepted shares will be credited back to your Dmat account after the final settlement. Thank you.
Thanks for the response KSKR Sir.. I tendered all the shares via Zerodha Console last Friday.I could still see all the shares in Kite app. Checking the bid status in Console shows Pending status
@pigeon: In zerodha, they mark shares for debit on last date or after last date of tender i think. Then you will not see shares in portfolio. Now you can see but anyways you can't (should not) sell so it doesn't matter when shares are debited from account. In actual, you can sell shares still in open market from your zerodha account, then your buyback order will fail later when it will go to exchange. I had checked with them on call during nucleus buyback.
