If your Demat account tagged to ICICI Savings account then you can request online closure of the account provided there are NO HOLDINGS in the Demat account.

Steps to follow are:
1. Login into ICICI internet banking with registered mobile
2. Select Customer service -> Service Request -> Demat
3. Request for Closure of Demat
4. Select option reason for closure
5. Submit the request to get OTP
6. Submit with OTP

hi Sreenivas i have followed same few days back but still account is running and there is no service request showing on site. Seems ICICI not taking requests, can u pls advice next steps
