Vivo Collaboration IPO Review (May apply)

[Dilip Davda]  The issue price is very tempting based on its recent performances. Its comparison with listed peers is surprising. The sudden boost in bottom lines raises eyebrows and also a concern for sustainability going forward. Considering all these, risk seeker/cash surplus investors may consider parking their funds for the medium to long term. Read detail review...

Why it has fallen from the above level? The volumes are drying day by day. Huge difference in buying n selling. When it will rise?

Why circuits changes? Whay from 5% it changed to 20% for 2 days and now again changed to 10%? Who controls that and why there is such movement?

It is the exchange and the sole discretion of the exchange based on price movements. Will get bumped to 5% if a couple of more UC or LCs occur.

@noorul: ya these phases of LC UC both will come definitely in journey of long holding, i already told you that you need to stand strong...no share rises one way, prevest, bew, eki etc all had gone through these....and buying again is usually very tough once we sell something, i took that strong decesion in DMR.... anyways congrats for good profit and good luck for vivo and timescan. I am holding ab cotspin and will hold until Circuit limit change atleast to see further movement.
@avenue: it opened at same price as yesterday not 20% UC in preopen....uc hit later. Congrats for the UC :)

@lokes,
yes you are right, I have only 1682 shares of rate gain (Aptus: 8000 shares). I will sell all rate gain in the coming days as suggested. (Aptus, for me its long time holding. it could be multibagger in few Quarters along with Sansera. its my personal opinion only)

Thanks

105. NeilM |   Link |  Bookmark |January 12, 2022 9:26:41 AM
My average is 355 and already at massive loss. When will the buying start in this trade?

I believe it is trading under PE of 15 and being a tech org deserves a PE of atleast 30.

This has been the most idiotic investment of mine and I’m not sure till when the lower Circuits will continue. Where are the IPO giant subscribers? Why they have not been re investing thier profits and gain more from this stock.
@anant aggarwal @lokesh and many more…. Was this just a trap for retail cx like us?

There were so many people saying they loaded money to buy at 250, 275… where are those people now?

It was clear operator game only with baseless discussions on the group

@neim: how can you trust anyone here and buy at such high prices in preopen?
You need to take buy/sell decision as per your risk, not as per exaggerated prices/targets given here on forum. On listing day itself, i informed you my opinion on your post.

Both Alpha Leon (purchaser) and Mansi (seller) are related parties and have a relationship. They made the trade to show that there is activity in the stock. This is effectively a wash trade with no meaning. If this was a real trade Alpha Leon would buy from the Open market in a single trade with more than 1.5 lakh shares available.
104.9. Spock 🖖 |   Link |  Bookmark |January 10, 2022 11:41:32 AM
@Blick
this could also be a reason as stock was not trading in the two sessions.

I general, how small investor can find these parties are related with each other?
103. IPO Mitr |   Link |  Bookmark |January 7, 2022 2:49:57 PM
Since VIVO listed at quite high listing price than it was expected, additional new demand at increased price is virtually doesn''t exist.

If no one is willing to buy more than "last transacted price" and no one is willing to sell less than "last transacted price" then no transaction will take place and stock price will continue to stay where it is.

In this situation there are two options:

1. Person who doesn''t wishes to sell below "last transacted price", can wait till some positive event in the company which will motivate investors to buy at a price which is higher than "current transacted price".

2. Person who doesn''t wishes to buy above "last transacted price", can wait till some negative event in the company which will motivate existing holders to sell at a price which is lower than "current transacted price".

Remember waiting in SME stocks has its own risk and it all depends if the company shows IMPROVED (positive) or DETERIORATING ( negative) performance/event next time and what is the degree of IMPROVEMENT or DETERIORATION.

Suggest to play as per your own risk profile and not guided by unnecessary euphoria or extreme pessimism.
103.1. IPO Mitr |   Link |  Bookmark |January 7, 2022 3:24:30 PM
Just to add further:

- If no one is willing to buy at a price even much lower than "last transacted price", it may indicate that current trend in the stock is significantly down and next transaction will be expected to happen at much much lower than "last transacted price". Again this may indirectly mean that market may be waiting for circuit breaker (here LC) to expand before any transaction happens........

Remember in normal environment everything depends on the company''s short term performance but if a very adverse event takes place for overall economy and stock market then there will be a very significant risk for SME investors which will be much more severe than the risk for investors in main board equity companies.

This is not to scare anyone in anyway ..just elaborating different scenarios for the benefit of everyone especially new SME investors.

Kindly suggest if there is no buyer, will lower circuit impact on rate be considered
102.1. Mas |   Link |  Bookmark |January 7, 2022 7:22:49 AM (200+ Posts)
No there will be lower rates, since 2 days it''s 289.30/- but there is no buyer
So rates are not coming down.
Price will come down if there is a single lot traded at 289.30/-. Wait for circuit to revise to 10℅ or 20℅ than some demand may come & people get chance to exit

People who got allotment to Vivo please answer- All shares got sold or still waiting for buyers?
A question to SME experts- How many days it will take usually to sell all allotted shares from an SME IPO?

Don''t worry mine is stuck too, in future never apply by UPI and wait for the mandate to end by 7th Jan and check on 8th Morning if you still don''t see the amount returned then write to : ipo.upi@npci.org.in with the UPI id and details to enable them to cancel the mandate at their end.

@ Lokes , Avenue, Noorul and all other members.
IPO application in HNI Category can only be made using ASBA through the net-banking or Mobile banking / visit the bank branch and apply in the paper form. If the Cutoff for HNI is 3 PM how come HNI subscription data is getting increased after 3PM ?. Is there any bank allowing HNI applications after 3 PM . Please clarify this .

@avenue: thanks for checking. anyways ya they give mostly general replies and sometimes software works other way too, like for edit as you mentioned.
In other instance, in zerodha, customer care person told that we cant short sell shares for ipo on listing day but i tried in supriya with 1 share and it was working. Even on their website it was mentioned that intraday not allowed for ipos on listing.

Online HNI is done only till 3pm, but physical applications are accepted in most of the banks even till 4:30 PM.

I purchased a lot at 355.1 (listing price). What do I do? I’m a retail investor with limited funds. I thought of taking a risk, but is it worth it?
Please suggest as I see a lot of you are experts.
95.12. Avenue |   Link |  Bookmark |December 31, 2021 1:30:38 PM
@NeilM... Ideally you should have asked before buying at such a high price...
Now as you have already bought it, it depends on your risk apetite. Being a Retailor with limited funds my suggestion would be to get out of this stock with 10-15% loss. However being a SME now you will have 2 days to see the price movement and act accordingly immediately after 2 day period.

@suneel: ya if some ipo opens well below expectations then it moves higher after listing like tarsons/nupur etc and if some list too much above expectations then this vivo kind of scenario is possible. it was too much hype created here. In the end, profit is profit when it is booked. Still everyone can behave in different way. In HPA/cms, both i applied both not allotted, HPA i sold today at upper circuit price 407 my 100 shares which i bought in preopen at 315. I tried for short term play only and am happy with this profit. cms i missed to check/buy in preopen as i was monitoring this vivo.
@noorul: subscription for jhandewala foods were much higher 4 years back if we consider amount, just giving example. Anyways my view is unbiased here in vivo and i feel here at this price , profit booking should have been done like big people are doing and for retailers it was too risky to buy at this price. Again it can be bought at lower price later. Even nupur also may break UC in 1-2 days as per volumes so better to book profit there also for short term. Anyways i may also be wrong and its just my opinion, i know u have enough experience and will decide properly.
@captainjack : you cant compare this with kotyark since there listing price was at par and here its more than 4 times.
@avenue: yes like all other shares, simply it can also be traded at LC, whoever placing buy order at 337.35 will get it, you can see that volumes have increased after hitting LC means some buying has happened at LC price.
And as you asked "I also think no buyer and 32 sellers only in VIVO indicate further LC ?? "" -> yes until some big player will come to buy more shares at LC prices, since retailers will not be buying much now at this price and that too in LC , it may go upto 280-300 before LC opens in my view (means 2-3 more LC), but no surety, may be Monday also it opens if someone comes to buy more.

@MRavi This IPO set an example that going forward in all SME''s you will have a tough competition from other investors, looks like company financials doesn''t mean anything, it''s only the subscription rates for listing price.

All SME company owners from now will be happy as I can sense most of the SME IPO''s subscription rates will go high atleast for couple of months until people realize there are no buyers at listing price....
