Total Income

Total Income is the sum of all revenues earned by a company from its operating and non-operating activities during a period.

Total Income is the sum of all revenues and earnings a company generates during a specific period. It includes:

  • Operating Income: Revenue from core business activities (like sales of goods or services).
  • Non-Operating Income: Other income such as interest earned, dividends, rental income, or profit from investments.

In simple terms: Total Income = Operating Income + Non-operating Income, showing the company’s complete earnings before deducting expenses.

A year-on-year (YoY) increase in total income shows the company is earning more revenue, either through higher sales, expansion, or better business performance. Continuous rise suggests the company has strong demand, competitive strength, and growth opportunities
