Elementary my Dear Watson,

Offer For Sale = 24,694,500 shares
If, the Issue size = approx. 1200 Crs.
Then, Offer Price = 485 Per Share

You say that MGL deserves to be valued @25% premium to Issue Price ...
Then, 485 + 25% = 606/-


Now,
Indraprastha Gas Limited
EPS for FY16 = 33.15
Yesterday''s Closing price = 562.90

So, I request you to kindly justify why Mahanagar Gas should valued at a higher PE multiple than Indraprastha Gas ??

As far as i know, Indraprastha gas limited Trailing 12 M EPS for FY 2015-16 is 29.73 and as per last closing price , its P/E multiple comes to 19.
As one sees that, what a fancies has been created among oil marketing companies in the recent past due to stable and regular price hike made in petro products by OMCs without much intervention, i expect it will command PE multiple of 20, likely at par with IGL.
No GMP required at this time.
Only clear investment philosophy.

Regarde Price band, i understand that it is only OFS and No. of share offered and Price band can be determined easily but i should wait for official announcement for Price band.

If Price band will be Rs. 485 than Rs. 600 is a good exit point
