Tomorrow listing confirmed. Trading Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that effective from Tuesday, November 16, 2010, the equity shares of Gravita India Limited shall be listed and admitted to dealings on the Exchange in the list of ‘B’ Group of Securities:
Don't pre-determine whether to sell or buy before IPO lists. Go to trading hall with open mind. Don't have biased view such as today it is bullish / bearish or I will buy at 160 or 170. Play number game. Having biased mind could be costly to your pocket.
Wait for few minutes before you BUY. Below Day's Open Price could be your stop-loss. Eg: If it opens at 170, then 165 should be your stop-loss.
Contrary to expectation, if cracks Day's Open Price, put Rs.5 above Day'Open Price & go short.
Watch the book. You can see Open Price, Previous Day's Close Price (IPO Price), High / Low.
Cover your short Rs.3 above IPO issue price. If cracks issue price, then short again with IPO Issue Price + Rs.5 as your stop-loss.
Day's low is the support & you need to cover Rs.3 above IPO issue price. If cracks IPO issue price, wait for few minutes to check whether it raises again. If does not raise, then SHORT again putting issue price + Rs.5 as your stop-loss.
Present grey market premium is 85-90 for gravita. So expected listing is 210 above.I will buy if it lists above GMP and stays above it for a couple of minutes for 10-20 percent profit.

Gravita would be very volatile on listing day, the movements may be very sharp, My advice for retail and small investors like me to stay away, the stock is fully priced at around 150 to 150/- but there are grey markets trades to be adjusted, I doubt you may get the share at 170 or 180 on its way up, i expect it to open closer to 200 and move up, yes it may come down to 170/180 levels, but then that will be time when it will be on its downward journey, may never see again the highs it made on the first 2 days
Panditji... Thanks for ur comments on Power Grid...
Any sense in Gravita buying at Rs. 170-180. As I havent got the allotmentment...I expect that Gravita will move till 250 on listing day...Can I play on margin for Gravita

I do not see the price of Power Grid falling below 95/- ruppes that will be the base, and if it does, it will bounce back in 2 days, Power grid may lot see a run up like REC, but surely there is reasinable profit to be made, for the sort term I expect it to trade betwwen 95 and 105, Believe me contrary to many views as to the price coming down after the FPO shares are alloted, you will be pleasantly surprised, Dont worry about Powergrid, have a nice sleep.
Hey friends Applied 5 full application of gravita. Alloted 150 shares. my broker is offering me 90/- premium Should I sell it or wait for listing Suggestion is highly appreciated.
Power Grid has subscribed 28 times in NII category. How the market will behave when there is allotment . Will NIIs will bye out in large no. taking the share price up for two three days from the date of allotment. What should be the strategy in two three days from the allotment?
Ravi, i would like to buy at 170 to 180 for 1000 shares, if possible but if not i would purchase only 500 shares on market price. your comment is most welcome.
