need to apply only for one lot.
if you apply more than.
it may not get allotted becaof demand.
they will assume that you will buy in listing.
Those who have missed to get allotted.
buy it now and hold it. This may be- their aim.

Long term is always good. But how long is the question ?
This one should hold good for mid-long term (ie 3-6 months)i''m expecting. But as you know market you will never know..
