I need an advice. I am a beginner and a retail investor.
Mapmyindia listed at 1565. I did not get chance to sell on listing day at good price.
It went down and down. Luckily a week later I could sell at 1762.

I did not apply and did not monitor, what happened on VIVO listing day. Not can see the graph in google.
I read from your chats, it opened at 355.10.
I guess, it hit UC and then LC.

1. Was their sufficient opportunity to sell VIVO?
2. How to place preopen bid?

Do not wish to get stuck on listing days, if I intend to sell any stock. Thank you in advance.

Applied 2lots in NII in the 2nd day .
The last day NII is more than 100 times. Only through lottery. If have luck get some allotment..we will wait and see.

Its disgusting that Federal Bank closes ipo application@2pm.
Then how can I apply on last day based on 2.30pm subscription figure.
Was planning to apply for this one but because of the time.. oof

Also allotees can’t sell their shares on listing day as there will be no buyers, just like VIVO and Omnipotent

I partially disagree with u, if it lists @10-30% premium many people will be there to buy. If it lists @50-100% premium it may happen.

When Mainboard IPOs were not available we moved to SME IPOs. Now even those seems to be over, atleast for the time being. Does anybody has any idea to keep us busy?

why icici direct is not allowing to revise bit post 3pm in SME? In Mainboard, it allows till 3.30pm, but for SME, the revise bid button disappeared post 3pm...

Guys, can someone provide which brokerage/bank provide bid time till 4 or 4.30pm. Its better we all switch to that.

I am an NRI, applying for IPOs though repentable account. On a short term profit bank is deducting tax at source. Is the short term tax claimable from IT?

Till date I have not filed IT returns. if short term tax is claimable, I will file IT. or else no other taxable income I got.

SME IPOs are mostly speculative and lower liquidity due to very small equity base and large transaction size. It is very much possible that people putting money in SME IPOs are stuck in the stock for long with no light at other end of the tunnel.

Irrespective of what people say, it is extremely difficult for anyone to analyze the quality of any SME issue. People need to be skilled enough to take right decision NOT ONLY before putting money in SME IPO but POST SUBSCRIPTION decision about how long to stay invested. Subscription can be bought with putting crores in free liquid money available with anyone but money can only be made when someone is able to take right decisions at multiple decision points.

One not only needs luck but also skills. Remember SME IPOs in not for everyone who has money...It is very high risk vs somewhat higher return path to earning. It really doesn''t make sense to earn 10% on an average in 4 SME IPOs and then lose 60% in next one. Invest wisely and only based on you what you ...yourselves really understand.

The helpless feeling of being stuck in LC (with loss) day after day cannot be expressed by words... It has to be experienced. The efforts made to place order in preopen / AMO for next day... Just to get rid of the holdings... These teach lessons which theoretical knowledge and warnings cannot give.

Some may feel that these things are being said to dissuade others from applying, but this forum whike having a good reach, doesn''t have that great an influence to change everyone''s minds all over India.

These things are mentioned for the benefit of people who have 🌟 in their eyes... They just see the 💵 💵 💵 to be made on a positive listing.

Remember : Just invest that amount IN SMEs which if it becomes ZERO, won''t impact your lifestyle.

Good news for account holder.

This is a competitive but repetitive and lucrative business model, comps. generally book air freight slots in bulk and in advance and for container rate margins also high, the custom clearance (if majority of jon is hassle free/no remark or hold by custom inspector then it results in repeat business), timely filing and presenting the docs to custom authorities is key in this business, also many shipments comes on CARNET - that is for exhibition and trade fairs etc and they go back after job is done and these types of companies also custom clear imported goods cars etc., and its a profit making business BUT a lot depends on the integrity of the promoters and experience

I feel it has some potential.

My opinion comes from my freight forwarding job background, I was delhi based but bulk of the profit of the company would come from south India region.

Haven''t researched on the company but by first look it is good to go.

This is my personal opinion and I may be biased and wrong. Please correct me if you find anything misleading or inaccurate.
