dear sk,sorry if i have hurt you..can u tell me that your shares of tata steel fpo have been credited or not...i think by today night ,it will be credited to all respective demate a/c.i was little bit tense because i have sold my whole alloted shares yesterday only...

U can do short selling without having the shares in yr account. In return, u hv to give delivery of the shares in T+2 days otherwise, same qnty of shares will be bought by yr broker by auction. Pl read short selling and risk involved in that before doing

Shares have been credited to demat a/c...

Just now received message about Tata steel shares being credited in demat account. But sold 2 lots yesterday itself. Risky but now no problem.

what will be wisest decision for tata steel shares ? Is it worth holding or one should exit. Tgt is for 1-2 month

How can we sell the shares without being credited to our account. The shares shall be credited only in tight today / tomorrow morning. Please guide

Pl write to the registrar of the IPO with copy to Merchant banker mentioning the details of the application no, dt, lien amt or cheque no, bank & date, no. of shares allotted and every other details. They will definitely respond or else wait for 7 days and then fwd the same to SEBI. I will suggest you to write applciation and send the scan copy of the signed letter over mail.

The shares of Tata Steel will get credited today evening. If any one have sold the shares yesterday & whose demat account & Trading account are with same broker need not worry.
If your demat & Trading are with different & the delivery of shares are done through delivery instruction slip, I request them to meet DP Manager & request them to accept delivery instruction slip for Tata Steel with Blank date & transfer the shares early on 2nd feb 2011.
