In this Govt. you will weep like NHPC, NTPC and NMDC.

3rd class ipo like nhpc ,eps 1.6 fairvalue rs. 7 ,very big ipo , retail sigment 100% allotment.

Friday also my prediction was 100% accurate. I have told to sell NHPC, NTPC and NMDC in the morning and evening at was down. I think everyone is getting benefit from my prediction. Even Sensex is down or up but these will be only down hence you can blindly sell NHPC, NTPC and NMDC. FII are buying only Pizza, ARSS and MAN. They know that NHPC, NTPC and NMDC are dead stock. You can blindly sell in the morning and square in evening or next day. Because these will up only 0.50 paise or 1 Rupee but down will be ten times more than this. At the end of day or tomorrow morning you can easily earn good amount if you sell at the moment. Already market is too high but it is down or flat. When market will down again it will down. Hence, sell karne me fayda hi fayda. Inki badne ki aukat itni hai, ghatne ki unlimit as FII knows the inside story of these three companies hence they will not but at all. After SLVNL, Hind Copper, Nalco, SAIL, MMTC IPO/FPO Proceed over these will alos be in NHPC Category.

in hydro business most of the generation takes place during summers n not much during winters comparatively due to less availability of water.so u cannot simply double the eps generated for sep 09 like we do in other businesses.

further the tariff rates are fixed for long duration hence you cannot increase the rates like merchant power .besides existing capacity there is not much growth appearing in form of new capacity inn near future.

If PE is 10, why is everybody puking at it?
I see all the decent sized power companies are trading at around 17 PE based on fy11 estimated earnings.
SO what the real FUSS if this is being offered at 10PE?

What is the pe of ntpc,nhpc?
If eps is 1.85,then pe is arnd 17, is it very expensive?

vishal from where did u got the info of eps of 4 for SJVN.

as per the ipo form eps for march 09 is only 1.85 n with additional allotment of 28 lacs shares this month to hp govt the eps will further come down as the long term rates for all power sold by sjvn is fixed.there is no growth forthcoming.

SJVL IS FAR FAR BETTER THAN NHPC IN TERMS OF VALUATION. NHPC HAS 1.25 EPS IN 2009-10.PE IS AROUND 24 WHILE SJVL'S 2009-10 EPS IS AROUND 4, SO IS AVAILABLE AT AROUND 7.5 TIMES CURRENT YEAR'S EARNINGS. THIS WILL LIST AT AROUND 35-37 DAM SURE SO GO FOR IPO AND GET FIRM ALLOTEMENT AND GET 5-7 RS.PER SHARE ON LISTING DAY.

Why so much fuss about this issue? What is the eps and pe ?

NHPC HAD AN EPS OF 1 BUT FOR SJVN IS AROUND 3.SO SJVN IS BETTER THAN NHPC.

It is internal news that POWER GRID CORPORATION gout. has aproved rs. 70000 carors lone, and co is accuring some cos abroed , very short term target rs. 140 ,dont apply in ipos buy power grid from secondry market it is 100% safe. Recently all ipos are below investment grade.
