yes nav is right. as an electrical engineer i m very sure transmission losses are very low(10-12%) as compared to distribution losses(20-35%) becase of high Voltage, and distribution losses are beared by stare electricity bord, u know that all kind of electrcity theft is under this distribution so losses are going to their account.so this will not be the reason to reject this good IPO what do you think ???
Dear Dalalpat singh ji, transmission losses is beared by state electricity boards, and generation Companey and also ,these transmission losses are very less 10 to 15% as compared to Distribution losses which are faced by state utilities.
This psu is in transmission of power accross india. Total monopolly till date. but looking at the market position will it not be possible to enter at lower level, experts please advice?
It is westing our money to invest in this IPO, PGCIL is having huge transmission losses which aren't in prospectus. it will list on discount so investors should AVOID this IPO
I THINK THIS PSU IPO IS WORTH. NTPC HAS SOME COMPETITORS BUT THIS COMPANY HAS NO COMPETITION. THIS IS MONOPOLY TYPE COMPANY...INVESTMENT WILL BE RETURNING. SLOW BUT STEADY AND STRONG
Jo lagayega wo Kamayega....No gestation period for PGCIL. Already more than 100 projects earning profit....in next 7-8 years company is going to incurr capital expenditure for about 50,000 crore (read carefully: This is Fifty Thousand Crore...Not a joke!!!!)
